Yeah this was the most formal and organised thing ever, you're not gonna be inciting riots by talking about it. It's a choice

Here it is: youtu.be/W-gdHrINyMU it mentions that the idea that we would need to compensate each other within a community for goods is illogical and essentially capitalist brainrot, and few other things (its been a while since ive seen it)

I don't conceptually oppose it I just think it shouldn't be 200 years

By the way since you mentioned it, I'd like to say as a point of curiosity that the bartering system of exchange and its prevalence in history is quite overstated, given its obvious flaws. There's a video about the bartering myth somewhere if you want to learn more

I find often that when people say they know others who are abusing the system they often mean they don't understand the person's specific disability or why they should be entitled to money for it. There may be a small % of dishonesty, but it is overwhelmingly a net good

The myth of hoards of undeserving benefit abusers (hating poor people) has been very consistently believed even by those same working class people. It's sad

This seems like a very twisted understanding of the notion that you might challenge your beliefs as you're exposed to more of the world as you mature, to be made to mean tolerating bigotry

This sounds just like conversations around racial history in the USA from a few years ago, claiming it's making children unpatriotic or ignoring the great history of the country. Pure nationalism

Yes that's a completely valid point and goes even more to show how disconnected from reality some media figures are for portraying it so left leaning

Kinda hate that stonewall has become seen as a ultra leftist queer stronghold (read: biased) by most politicians
