no NYT. #1 school shootings have become "routine" due to your lack of reporting. #2 political violence and hate crimes are mostly from the right wing zealots, Jan 6, for example. pardoning those folks was the fuel for permission to act.

100% this white girl knows to show up for those who cannot. on the other hand, in Honolulu, we were all shades of human, all 7,000 of us. cuz, Hawai'i.

so sad. But Katie, this statement by the sheriff...probably doesn't want to use the term "killer." will his statement affect the trial?

this was in response to the assassinations and attempted assassinations in MN?! So now we are talking about how effed up the GOP is rather than expressing sorrow and compassion for all those affected. this is messed up.

7,000 in Honolulu! also turnouts on our more rural outer islands.

NYT and WPO didn't seem to get the message

7,000 showed up in Honolulu! festive, family friendly, great sense of community

I dropped NYT but husband picked up subscription in " firesale." The protest story was buried in the birthday parade story. Unbelievable. I was there; 7,000 in Honolulu & more on outer islands. Feel like I'm being gaslighted by NYT.

So sad! A bit misleading headline. Vaccination is @ 2 mos for baby; a pregnant woman's pertussis vaccination will transfer protection to newborn, which seems to be a no-brainer. Stay away from newborns if you refuse to or are unable to be vaccinated.

That's been the plan all along. South Korea broke through that nonsense, can we?

I find this confusing. 1957. Little Rock Nine, Arkansas. National Guard federalized by President.

Read it in my 20s. 40 years later, traveling to Norway soon, will visit friends. Time to reread.
