Smug doesnt even come close to how I feel. It's like a parent that told a child (who they care about) that bad shit would happen if they did something, but they did it anyway and now they need to find out the hard way themselves. Because some lessons need to be learned and felt directly.

I have to look up the stats again, but if I remember correctly, Trump got a few hundred thousand votes less than he got last election. Harris, on the other hand, got like 15 million votes less than Biden. Blame Democrat apathy not increased Trump support.

Fighting a virus relying solely on your immune system is like engaging in a war by only reacting to the enemy's moves. In contrast, using a vaccine is like going into battle armed with a detailed blueprint of the enemy's strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.

Imo there should be a government-run baseline for every good and service out there, run by either state or federal government. Private companies are free to compete against them, but they must either provide it cheaper and/or better to lure people away from the baseline service.

Democrats really project their idealistic views on the rest of this extremely misogynistic country.

We really piled on all the obstacles to getting votes in this country didn't we? Tim Waltz would have been the presidential candidate for a chance at winning. A Democrat who's a female and a minority was shooting for the moon...

If their party can no longer win fairly, they'll manipulate the system so they can win unfairly.

I don't have a lot of faith in our law enforcement either, but the solution isn't to revert to vigilante justice, it's to improve law enforcement.

If we're talking about something illegal, that would be a function of govt regulation to prevent.

Depends on how it's used. Fixing severe birth defects? Ethical.
