Overall I’d say the mobile app is waaaay better, and that CapCut is made for simplicity. There is potential for growth tho!

Cons:
-Terrible if you want to stack/layer clips.
-Timeline doesn’t scroll w/ playhead
-Doesn’t have a solid way to organize clips on the timeline (i.e. can’t set clips as different colors)

Pros:
-Really good to use if you have a singular clip w/ minimal edits.
-The remove background feature is REALLY good!
-The transcript edit was user friendly (I’d say even better than Davinci’s)

I keep seeing people saying that they’re getting content warnings, but you could barely say let alone type the words gay, trans, black people, white people, die, sex, etc. without censoring it in some way waaaaaaaay before the app shut down.
That was of the main reasons ppl hated that app

Yea unfortunately it’s still gone from the App Store but I’m pretty sure it’ll be back before the end of the week. Shoot maybe even by tomorrow lol
