You are literally what is wrong with this country.

The guy who posted that was the lead dev of Roblox, it's not even like he created something worthwhile, lol.

USAID was also active in anti-apartheid efforts in South Africa.

Nuclear fusion research deals with transport barriers, are they going to flag papers on that topic? Lol

Given what Fox News tells them regarding crime, these morons absolutely believe there are 20 million violent immigrants in the country.

It's no coincidence that my dad's father was a massive piece of shit, and my dad has wasted his life gravitating towards these types constantly seeking their approval.

In addition to the retriggers, the cards that duplicate them, Brainstorm and Blueprint, are also extremely helpful. I finally managed to reach 10^32 one of these combos.

My agency received this email as well, they all used the same template and were signed by the acting secretary.

My wife and I keep yelling every time they make a stupid decision and it's honestly surprising that we haven't gotten a noise complaint as a result.

The body of that email read: "... and I let him. So much teeth!"

Hell, these people still shit on Jimmy Carter for asking Americans to wear sweaters during a winter energy crisis.

Walmart does the same. A guy on the Magic: The Gathering subreddit bragged about stealing booster boxes from them, only to later post in the LegalAdvice sub accusing them of entrapment for "letting" him steal so many before detaining him.

Now I'm trapped in a Spectral Pack waiting for a player to set me free.

When something bad happens to our dad's, my wife and I joke that it's God punishing them for voting Trump. My friend's dad has lost 3 of his front teeth rather suddenly, and we joke that it's one tooth for each Trump vote.

Whatever the reason, they invest a ton of money into it.

Recently watched a Path of Exile 2 content creator explain how and where to farm materials in a 2-minute video that covered every detail, and it was so refreshing.
comment in response to
post
Exactly. It's mind-numbing to repeatedly farm bosses you can one-shot, then run through a dungeon dealing trillions of damage, but to the uninitiated, it looks and sounds impressive.

Jfc, he got away with doing this shit at least *twice*?
comment in response to

Yup. Because they still don't have a ladder, he posts clips of his T150 runs onto some external site that manually ranks runs based on completion time.
comment in response to

The current build that Elon runs is so stupidly easy to use that it literally one-shots one of the endgame bosses.
His "record-setting" T150 run exploited a bugged potion that accidentally increased damage output by a factor of 100+%.

They later clarify on OPM's FAQ that "supervisors should place employees who request their resignation on paid administrative leave" with no enforcement of that whatsoever.
I've got only one response to their offer:

We've got one employee that moved all the way from the UK for his job, and he's only 1 month away from ending his probation. The person who handled all our DEI stuff resigned at the start of the new year, and she's looking smarter every day this week.

My boss nearly did that as well, but was told by a higher up not to mess around with them.
I've got one response to their resignation offer:

No, and they sued but somehow lost.

This is what those two OPM test emails were prepping for. It's not based on tenure, I'm only two years in (out of probation, thankfully) and got it.

I certainly hope all of those women who turned in their deadbeat ex-husbands for rioting on J6 bought guns the moment Trump announced these guys were getting pardoned.

There was a Booktok video that generated a lot of controversy when someone claimed that they'd read well over a thousand books in a year- and they counted each reread of childrens' books to their kids.

That movie came out right after my grandfather passed away, and it leaves me sobbing every time I watch it. Just a peftect movie.

My son fucking loves this show, but he definitely gets the wrong message as Rhino is his favorite character. One of his favorite toys this Christmas was Rhino figure with a truck.

Yeah, YouTube is an absolute cesspool with an algorithm that pushes the some of the worst content on the internet to impressionable kids.

The first APS conference I attended had a poster from a guy who claimed that a black hole was hiding behind the sun and within a decade its orbital pattern would shift enough to devour every planet in our solar system.

One of the best things Reddit ever did was nuke the various fascist communities that spawned during the first Trump admin, and implement rules to ensure that such communities never come back.

On the commentary, one of my favorite bits is an exchange during the shootout chase:
Verhoven: "This was originally even more brutal, I guess you use him as a shield."
Arnie: "What else are ya gonna do under the circumstances?"
