Not much, just some guy checking accounts of creative workers that I enjoy. Like to discuss some hobbies from time to time. Can end up arguing a lot. Sorry about that.

Using invincibility-cheat? Of course Margaret is pissed.
By the way, the previous strip made me reread Bird Day, as I needed a reminder of how Mike gave Satan his recent face-lift, and I had forgotten how gorgeous you had made the art, there:

A parody of Lobo's character, actually and it was in Sluggy Freelance.

I still think things would have turned differently if he hadn't had to hide it.
So Luke actually finding love was a break with the tradition that was needed.

I like it, IMO. I personally think that the point is that it breaks the mold.
It has always been my opinion that part of the reason the old Jedi order fall is precisely because it forbid attachment, leading to Anakin needing to keep his relationship a secret.

The way I see it, what it does instead is forbid males to have butt-play with their female partners.

I don't know if you understand French enough yet, but one of my favorite song is precisely about how the first one to speak out on important matters will be thrown to the pit:

I wish they could have integrated the chest windows to the alt-mode design, even if it meant changing the design of the alt mode a bit. They look so cool.

"and the subtext is that people like that don't give a fuck if you're minor or not"
The comic has literally the opposite of it, moron.
comment in response to
post
"Why doesn't the comics just say it, then?"
There is a thing called subtext, moron.

"Assuming she's under 18 is actually bad faith"
Seeing the vast majority of Higshcoolers are under 18, the opposite. You are the one arguing in bad faith and you know it, ass.
comment in response to
post
"That until you realize that people all over the world are often still in HS by when they're 18."
We already went over this. Again, the vast majority are under 18 and you know it. Therefore, assuming she is 18 is bad faith.
comment in response to

"And no, again, the comic is NOT clearly about a minor."
Again, yes she is. She is explicitly in highscool, which is an indication that she is a minor for anyone who isn't looking at it in bad faith, ass.

"What troubles? I'm 18, dumbass."
The comic is clearly about a minor, so that's not relevant to what was actually argued about, there.

"Well, who's gonna stop me?" Adults having been taught they shouldn't date you or they'll get in trouble.
comment in response to

"Why? 'Cause "muh power imbalances" and similar BS?"
Actually, yes. And don't think I didn't notice you moving the limit to 17, fucking ass!

"What happens a lot is that late teens date older guys/girls."
An d it's fucking wrong, asshole.
comment in response to

" but that's something that happens a lot, lmfao"
Having a panicked face while thinking about making the cop involved? Maybe. Doesn't make you any less wrong and a moron.

"She's just thinking of a joke about it"
She is obviously not joking. That's the punchline of the comic, not of the character, moron.
why do you keep being such an idiot?
If you do not understand that she is thinking about involving the police for sex crime, then YOU are the one being tone-deaf.
comment in response to
post
"Not really, no."
Yes, really, YES!
Law and Order: SVU is a show specifically about the police investigating sexual criminal and sending them to trial.
Moron.

"The comics give no age other than the guy's. "
Again, it doesn't matter. That she is still in High school is a clear indication that she is more likely to be minor.
You are just making a fool of yourself.
comment in response to

"Yes, it's quite common to be 18 and still in HS"
Again, it's less common than not being 18 and you know it.
"why would I assume she's a minor?" Because it's more likely that she isn't 18.
comment in response to
post
"It's actually quite common" No, being 18 in Highschool is less common than the other ages. Stop digging.
comment in response to

But usually not and you know it.
comment in response to

The comic make it clear that she is in highschool, making it clear that she is still a minor.

Sure, you are mocking, but in 30 years, there is a non-zero chance that you'll make DoA flashback strips where you'll retcon that Joyce and Dorothy never had any other love interest than each-other.

Underrated figure, IMO. I actually prefer that the tarp is made of plastic instead of fabric and the way it can be both seemingly cover the robot and truck mode is quite clever. And the way the legs become the rotation joint for the truck mode is really impressive.
This mold deserved leader size.

You can actually make his door-wing look like they are in the movie?
How good looking is his back in that configuration?

I don't see how it's not possible to not like their music. My own tastes tend to be basic, but regardless, I can listen forever to "I Get Around", "Wouldn't It Be Nice" or "Barbara Ann" and never get bored of it.

comment in response to

They were on the back, most of the time. My actual issue there is that there clearly was a way for the jets on the legs to actually be inserted inside of the frame instead of just being plugged over them. Would have been more cartoon accurate, if this is what they were aiming for.

"This line, obviously breaking the 4th wall, should maybe not be taken as an in-universe statement, as it might simply be a tongue-in-cheek joke to the audience, whose many are well known to have speculated about Joyce's bisexuality. It should therefore not be taken as a confirmation."
