I guess it's nice we're practicing forgiveness on this day, but why do I get the feeling this grace wouldn't be extended if he was anything but a white guy?
Where was this attitude when Lindsay Ellis was getting her career destroyed over a tweet? Or ContraPoints? 🤔 Guess it's a mystery.

Wow, I clicked on it thinking the one whiny comment was going to be an outlier, like all the babies putting their tears into one cup, but no, literally ALL of the top comments are defending him or rationalizing it, even theorizing that he was forced into doing it through economic insecurity. Wild.

I commented this on your video already but Rebecca, you are not alone, I too liked the premise of the show but have not watched it solely because he does that smug face in literally every promo picture.

I will genuinely never forget how alarming this was when I first saw it. Like an astronomer seeing a comet heading towards earth.

When I log into my little channel where I post let's plays for 10-100 views, I constantly get "how to get big at YT" vids recommended. They're always like "find your niche, then ask ChatGPT to make 50 video titles, then ask it to write scripts, then get Dall-E to make thumbnails, then-"
it's bleak.

I feel like a very formative experience for online communication was spending time on forums with rules like "no low effort replies" & actually enforcing civility.
Having my posts deleted with "please rephrase that" was such a shift for 12 yr old me like ??? wait I have to think about how I speak!?

So if you're severely allergic to peanuts, but just get a scratchy throat from something else like an almond or (raw) peas, eating that in increasing amounts over time could* affect your peanut allergy as well.
*I am not a doctor, just (used to be) really allergic to some stuff. [3/3]

The Italian study showed that eating an increasing amount of an associated allergen (for example, apples and carrots are associated with certain pollen allergies), can reduce the allergic reaction in general. So in short, eating apples can reduce hay fever.
[2/3 the 1/2 was a scam sorry]

That's how they do immunotherapy treatments. For some allergens, you would get injected with increasingly high amounts of the allergen, but eating it also works. With peanuts I think I remember reading that injections weren't as effective.
There was also a cool Italian study that showed- [1/2]
