I thought the obsequious fawning over Trump and that bloody invite from the King was embarrassing to be honest

More likely along the lines of 'my brother likes young girls too. Did you know that nice Mr Epstein?"

It was embarrassing

Unfortunately it's far more likely to be as obsequious as Starmer was. Embarrassing to see our PM fawning over the Tangerine Turd

I hope it isn't. It's failing and unsustainable. We need a social insurance system like France and Germany. Sadly most people don't bother to do any research into alternatives

The US system is not the only alternative

If you saw what the US provides comared to the US you might think again however we need a social insurance system like France and Germany not a private insurance model

We need to bring in a social insurance system like in France. Their heathcare is excellent, hospitals are clean and well staffed and their outcomes are better. We could have the same if we gave up our ridiculous attachment to a failing and unsustainable NHS

I'm disappointed that foreign aid has been cut because it will result in more people finding it impossible to say in their own countries and head to Europe. This feeds into the continued weaponising of refugees but with Dementia Donny in charge we need to be able to defend ourselves and our allies

We have beavers in our town living (largely) in a nature reserve. The reserve has just been closed temporarily due to flooding so it hasn't worked here. Absolutely love watching them though

Have you ever seen a photo of so many soulless people. Dead behind the eyes

Is that account genuine? The photo is of a Caucasian woman but the account info says its owned by 'Samuel' from Nigeria.

All my family work in the NHS. They say it is beyond help and needs dismantling and rebuilding along social insurance lines. My last experience of the NHS was 27 hours on a trolley, 17 with no food or water followed by a surgical procedure without anaesthetic done by a jnr doctor who took 3 goes!!

So far the start of the ceasefire has been 'rescheduled' and the bombing and murder continues. I'm not feeling very hopeful

Many years ago I sat in Mel Gibson's office at Shepperton Studios. He chatted, gave me a signed script and a crew cap. He was the nicest man. How the years have changed him

An excellent question. No one seems to be talking about it. Should be front and center #water #datacenters

What about the environmental impact of AI? No one seems to want to talk about it. What impact has the draining of the California aquifers to cool the data centres had on the lack of water to fight the wildfires? Where will the millions of litres of water needed come from?

I used to enjoy your account but its a bit tedious now. Au revoir

They have also contributed to the drying up of aquifers in California and we are seeing the repercussionsof that right now

And no one seems to be talking about the environmental impact of AI. A data centre uses as much energy a year as 50,000 houses and 300,000 gallons of water a day to cool the equipment. That's as much as 100,000 houses.

Yes please. Already seeing X type engagement and I rarely even come on here

Why is no-one discussing the environmental impact of AI? A data centre uses as much energy a year as 50,000 UK homes and uses 300m litres of water a day, equivalent to about 100,000 homes. Apparently many of the aquifers in California have dried up and data centres are a big factor in this

Unlike you I don't spend every waking moment on social media as I have a life and a business to run. I can't even remember what the discussion was about and blocked the OP so I'll leave you and your sarcasm to fester like a suppurating wound. Have a joyous day
