HOLY- .......I may have to upgrade. How did they make the game even MORE pretty?!

This is the review that convinced me to get it!! If I remember correctly, it may also be the first episode I listened to!

Very nice! Love me some Tortuga, I think the original map was one of the components that made me excited to play it!

I hope you enjoy! Let me know if you ever need specific recommendations.

Kudos for trying to find a primary source. I don't think it would be a stretch at all to say that "smash bros has made formerly obscure series more popular" or at least more known. I had zero awareness of the mother series apart from smash, and I think the most people in my circle are the same.

I have one, pros and cons: Pros: -lots of indie games for cheap, including some great board game adaptations that aren't on switch -can be used as a computer Cons: -expensive -you have to adjust graphics settings for higher end games. Miles would have to run at 30fps for a good experience

These look beautiful! I love how pretty modern board games are these days. What is "Daybreak?"

Ooh! Probably the one where I tried to find the fun in Metroid Other M and Starfox Zero: youtu.be/f5KM9m1nRWE?...

Congrats and well deserved! Out of curiosity, how many of that player count are through Game Pass or PS plus?

It's small, but I think "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown" innovates by replacing (some) map icons with screengrabs you take yourself. A worthy addition to the Metroidvania genre. Alternately, "Minishoot' Adventures" for making a bullethell more palatable with a Zelda-esque overworld & structure.

Definitely a learning curve on that one, as are most games on UFO50! I think the appeal for me came in finding my own solutions, and then ironing out kinks each try until I felt like I had perfectly executed a plan. Lots of hidden mechanics. In general I liked the board gamey games the most :)

Very nice!! My top highlights after 50 hours are Hyper Contender, Party House, Rail Heist, Devilition, and Camouflage. Still feel like I've barely scratched the surface with a lot of them though!

Go for it!! I remember Sabotage Studio said they started making Sea of Stars the moment they knew that their first game, The Messenger, was successful. To them it was treating themselves to a genre once they got their feet wet, and I'd say you have the experience to back up your aspirations!

@sfbtom.bsky.social @sfbdim.bsky.social , these two narrative designers I interviewed both cited your Grimoire games as top-tier experiences that continue to influence them in the mystery fiction they write today!
