You just reminded me I have to shave my legs

I still laugh my ass off every time I see this. Somewhere I have a photo of you looking at the camera like Jim on “The Office”

Showing this to our circ team! 😍

To wit, one of my coworkers had a sign saying “You can lead someone to knowledge but you can’t make them think” in their cubicle and I think about that a lot.

I love you, even if I don't quite understand you or what you're going through.

You are correct! I only remember the ears and how much you haaaaaated the sun lol Also someone in Florida has “IN0RITE” but I could choose “IN0R1TE” if I wanted lmfao

IIRC you also had Mickey ears. This was also where we came up with “IKNORITE”, coincidentally a story I remembered the other day while driving to Publix 😂

Also this is when I met my BFF in person, @becklo.com, for the first time and my crazy didn’t scare her off (she actually was a huge moderating voice on me) so that’s a huge plus.

My grandfather is from Driffield so I do have a relatively direct link! We would LOVE to visit someday!

I do too, I was just saying I *thought* they’d be bad. These have been the best years of my life so far.

I’m of the same mind, the only thing that upset me is menopause. I worked it out with my therapist that I was more upset I was losing the choice and I had no say in it. But now I’m having them removed so it’s a moot issue lmao

I thought turning 30 was bad. 40 shouldn’t be but it feels worse 😭

Oh fuck saaaaame here. I’ve suspected I’m in perimenopause for a while but daaaang…

I remember I wanted to do way more with your drawing, like add a tablet or something, but it just wasn’t jiving. Yours definitely is one of my best ones, though.

Holy crap I’m glad you’re okay! This almost happened to me at work a couple nights ago: old woman almost backed into me as I was walking to my car. She even accelerated!

This can also be extended to medical and legal questions. Library staff can’t tell you what your meds do, we can’t interpret laws, we cannot give medical/legal/financial advice. We CAN, however, try to direct you to sources that CAN answer these questions.

And please don’t be angry at us, we’re not trying to screw you over. Aside from giving wrong info, it’s akin to giving financial advice and we could get in trouble for that.

Similar here too: a promotion I never would’ve gotten had I stayed where I was. I’m now making double the salary and doing about the same if not less. But my kingdom for either a transporter, a TARDIS, or an electric car.

No worries! I know the nonsense *is* spreading, but I’m glad there are places where it doesn’t really happen.

Me still waiting for the list of banned books like a sucker 😅 I thought, “Oh please don’t tell me this madness made it to Den-…oh, wait.” 🤣

Same with my car! It was a brand new car but now the mileage is pushing 80k in two years. And don’t get me started on gas prices… But I needed the money. This job saved my life, and I do love it, but I still wish I lived closer 😭

Similar here, it was not fun. I’m closer to home now but it’s still a bear most days.

In my old system, clopening is SOP. Here not so much.
