This part of @hcrichardson.bsky.social post today made me laugh and laugh - Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem took down her list of “sanctuary cities” she said weren’t cooperating with federal immigration authorities after the National Sheriffs’ Association demanded an apology. Thanks!

First day of Summer Reading today- Pizza day and Support Animal day, including a mini horse!

On a happy note - I went out to check the live trap this morning, and some of the food had been eaten, in that way only a picky dog will do. (wildlife would not have left any of it). On a sadder note, the trap never triggered, and didn't trigger til I forced it to. The rain affected it.

I have spent too much of the day arguing with bigots, idiots and the functionally illiterate over book banning. I need to stop doing that - but on the other hand, just because they're always so loud in their wrongness, someone has to counter their falsehoods. For the well being of us all.

In the end, they did NOT come back to talk to me; the rescue company thought it was going to be OK to just trespass on another neighbor's property in the middle of the night instead. She forbid them to do so as well. A new larger trap has been set up - I hope there is luck with this one. Poor pup

All my trans friends - you're all my friends - please keep safe. The bigots are getting really emboldened; assaulting people for just existing, what they did to Johnathan Joss - burning down his house, killing his dog, and killing him - I'm worried for all of you. Please be as safe as you can.

So neighbors transport animals for a loving. Late Friday, a wee 3 lb weiner dog got away from them, swam across the creek to my side. They've now hired a professional company to find him; he's not been seen since Saturday afternoon. Here's where it gets "fun".

/2 That can't be real, it doesn't look like that in my 50 years here in Alaska. Sir, it can be seen all the way down here in TN, and around the world, and from airplanes, and EACH photo is slightly different depending on where on the globs the photographer is located. The globe is still a globe.

An indicator of how stupid we've become - a photographer I follow takes amazing Colorado pictures - this week, the aurora borealis. The number cries that it's fake, AI, or worse conspiracy theories are astounding, including the guy who's never left Alaska and has no clue how it looks elsewhere. 🤦‍♂️

Ahhh, how "cute"🤬 All these folks saying "we shouldn't have Pride month if we can't devote a month to Veterans": If you actually gave a crap, you would have celebrated them all May, during Military Appreciation Month, and again in November, during Military Family Appreciation Month. You don't.

So apparently there's a new conspiracy theory that Biden was executed in 2020, and it's all been clones and ROBOTS ever since and we just don't realize it. 1. WHY are they so obsessed with Biden STILL? He's dying, he will never be president again - so why still? 2. They're really really scared.

More proof that people running government witchhunts are idiots. One of my friends back in Colorado said our old stomping grounds of Park COUNTY is on the list of suspected sanctuary CITIES harboring illegals. You know, 2200 square miles of the either most mountainous or high mountain plain areas.

I dreamed last night that I was hanging out with my great grandma again, when she was in her late 80s. Except I was the age I am now. That would have made her 145 years old. Interesting.
