Hear hear. She kept such a calm, professional manner. A masterclass. Mr Gorka is an ignorant bully whose true colours were well and truly shown in the interview.

10. All this is supposed to promote economic growth, which appears to be Labour’s sole remaining principle. Trashing the living world to stimulate growth is like sacrificing virgins to secure a good harvest: it’s cruel, ignorant and ineffective. If anything, it will have the opposite effect.

Oh dear shouty capitals, I think we’ll leave it there.

Why does the term ‘winning’ have any relevance to this judgement? It is very sad that society has been reduced to thinking in terms of winners and losers. Humanity needs to be better than that. Oh and, for what it’s worth, I totally support the concept of women only spaces .

Absolutely agree, deeply offensive image. No need for this at all. There are no winners in this judgement. JK, however, may well have just lost a lot of support with this crass post.

Why indeed. He is at best a narcissist, loves having power and doesn’t care what damage his abuse of this power causes.

Yep. The US administration say they want peace in Ukraine, that they will stop the war; yet I hear not one word of condemnation from them when Russia blatantly escalate their attacks. Remind me again who is the aggressor here?

5/ Let's make sure this now happens. You can write to Minister Pennycook saying you strongly support these plans - and urge the Govt and Land Registry to act on them swiftly. Ministerial email + template letter in my blog (scroll down): whoownsengland.org/2025/03/06/h...

Agreed, difficult balancing act but cutting the aid budget to spend more on defence seems totally counter-intuitive to me. However, this resignation has been handled very respectfully on both sides. Good to see.

Insightful, relevant, informed and sobering. I listened to his interview with James Naughtie, the current American administration should heed his words.

I don’t know why broadcasters bother with PP at all, she never gives a straight answer and resorts to insults, anything rather than answer perfectly reasonable questions.

Rarely watch it (only watched it because you were on). Thank you for resisting &standing up so bravely for humanity, democracy &standing firm against aggressors @georgemonbiot.bsky.social Your bit on the Catch-22 for asylum seekers changed the dynamic utterly - no coherent answer from #Labour Govt
