… what happened in 2010?

Aren't you fucking tired of being picture-perfect and pristine? Don't you want to WANT? Don't you want to actually write women who aren't afraid to look at something and then just move heaven and earth to have it? Try it out. You might get addicted.

I don’t really care about mtg but I do care about spending lots of money at your storefront! In fact, I was getting ready to spend a lot of money on Pokemon cards I’ve wanted for a while… but unfortunately you guys are evil union busting assholes!

I like the idea that she’s the ā€œcomplete formā€ but needs glasses while the other two don’t

I just want to get to the epilogue so I can know why all of the xenotubers posted videos with titles like ā€œcan we really accept chapter 13???ā€

We did it! By which I mean my partner bought it all and I was there for emotional support. I’m paying them back by being really cute.

… They meant the Switch 1.

I do know how it works and it’s still bad

He only said he didn’t use ChatGPT, he didn’t say anything about Midjourney…

I felt like I was holding myself back in a lot of ways, especially personality-wise, before transitioning, so while I don’t feel like a different person, I wouldn’t blame other people for thinking that I’ve at least changed a lot.

I’ve procrastinated on both my MG Unicorn and going about getting E, so the trend holds

I understand your drive to warn people. I commend you for that, but the original post makes it seem like Nintendo will steal your art/sue you if you draw fan art of their characters. This might dissuade people from drawing the fan art that they want to make, and causes unnecessary stress.

By ā€œon the deviceā€ you mean the Nintendo Switch, correct? If you mean a computer/phone, Nintendo has no control over that, this EULA only applies to the Switch. Am I just not aware of a large community of artists that draw everything in Colors Live or nPaint for Switch?
comment in response to post
Please stop. You don’t own Nintendo’s characters and they can use screenshots you take of their games for marketing. That’s literally all this does. Be mad about the arbitration clause all you want but stop fear-mongering. Just because a corporation makes a EULA doesn’t mean it’s time to riot.

Honestly. Every time I heard a 5 year old at work singing the chorus I was incredibly stressed that I’d be having a serious conversation with a parent later, so this is kind of a life saver.

They still make me take out the trash at work even though I’m a delicate pretty princess 🄲 Also there’s several janitor/groundskeeper-ish men who work there??? Idfk why none of them take care of it

Fuck it, nobody’s looking at my reply history. Yes. It’s alright I guess.

At that point make it into a bit. Make it the ā€œAdam insists that trans people deserve rightsā€ segment with a little jingle and everything. Make a show of how dipshits keep making him explain it. Don’t just cede that discussion to the fascists.

Funny site idea but ew ew ew blech gross why include AI shit? Also I think that ā€œconservative culture war bullshit exists to hide the real problem: billionaires taking bigger and bigger slices of global wealthā€ is not nearly as much of a stretch as anything from that site…

Maybe one of these days I’ll just force myself to post something like ā€œHello my name is LinkdAether and I like boobs and also women.ā€ to get it over with and filter out the prudes.

Though on the other hand, what are the chances I’ll be employed at a place that actually cares? And everyone I know is very sex-positive, so it shouldn’t matter! On the other-other hand, I have severe anxiety and I worry already about being too suggestive IRL anyway, so… :(
comment in response to post
Totally. An employer could probably find this account somewhat easily if they did some digging, and I’m already followed by a bunch of my IRL friends/people who expect me to post game dev stuff, so I’d be scared to repost lewd fanart or comment on sex-related posts…

I love this!!! So so so cute :3 and her nails are pretty! I also love thinking about how the world of XC2 would be with my/my partner’s OCs! It’s such a fun world (and I like shipping Pyra >:3)

I generally agree with the memory concept, though that’s not really how amnesia works. Conspiracy framing aside, true long-term ā€œmemoryā€ is an issue of data storage and processing. It would be prohibitively costly money/energy/time-wise. 32k (or 8k for free?) tokens is already eating 100s of MWH

Ok but we’re not asking about the origin of information in a system, it’s whether the final decision is human-like. If you ask a human for a random prime number, you will not get a random prime number, you’ll get the first one they thought of that sounded random enough.
comment in response to post
The problem with that analogy is that it’s an active dialogue between two decision-making agents. In the case of LLMs, you have billions of doors, millions of mice, and can only change the doors before putting the mouse in the maze and try to sort the giant pile of results you get at the end.
comment in response to post
I agree with you that AI decision-making is constructed to be aligned with what humans want. However, with the scale of what we’re expecting it to do, the fact that it literally can’t understand concepts means that there are nuances and edge cases it will get wrong that a human wouldn’t.
comment in response to post
It would be different, but it wouldn’t make that decision-making process any more human, just more ordered.
comment in response to post
For instance, a random number generator can be programmed by humans and used to make decisions, but exclusively random choice is far from how humans actually make choices, which is by using prior knowledge and understanding of concepts.
