In other words, they just want to keep bleeding their Scottish cash cow dry in terms of both money and our natural resources. BBC News - Starmer says no independence referendum while he is PM www.bbc.com/news/article...

£15 billion for nuclear attack submarines and warheads. It's a very selective magic money tree, isn't it? Not a single leaf on it when it comes to protecting the most vulnerable. But Labour are bent double under a bountiful harvest when it's big juicy weapons time.

Your occasional reminder that in two years' time, Nigel Farage will be taking his gold plated £73,000 annual EU pension.

#SocialistSunday good deed for the day! #SocialistCircle - please share

We definitely need a new character. Why not Liz, I mean she’s got Feck-all else to do….. “Discriminate”…..sorry, I meant “Exterminate”

Musk should be asked about this in every interview he does now and forever. To ignore it is a dereliction of duty. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/30/o...

he won’t do hitler numbers but kajuga numbers are well within reach and on a comparable timeline

Please sign this petition. Let’s get the issue in the ether. Our broadcast media isn’t properly covering ALL our parties. & is starting to frame the 2029 General election 4 years out. Is that right? Democracy is at stake. You want to hear all parties dont you?! petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Where would you like me to put my thumb Andrew?

Almost half of adults fear an unexpected £100 bill would leave them struggling to pay their rent or mortgage ‘When nearly half of people are so financially fragile that they are living in fear of a £100 bill, something has gone very wrong' www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Scott Pelley—American author and reporter for CBS News for more than 31 years, did not hold back

Thank you everyone who has already signed the petition to Keir Starmer. Its already almost at 1,000. Lets get it there this morning. It only takes a moment🙏 win.newmode.net/bigissue/ask...

Vote for Gary as presenter of the year. Let them know we support public figures who speak up for what’s right. If this continues, no one with a platform will ever speak up again - then they win! That is what they want. Vote here 👉 www.nationaltvawards.com/vote (Credit: The Fellowship of the Memes)

Even Reeves's closest colleagues are telling her what should be obvious: she should be taxing wealth fairly, not stripping support from the most vulnerable. Time for her to start listening. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

📊 Labour loses a point for emulating Reform. 📊 Lib Dem’s overtake the Tories. Starmer will be slated by the MSM anyway, so should: Push harder to reverse Brexit, rejoin the single market, clamp down on tech, implement press regs and do it all completely unapologetically. Go hard or get Reform.

Richard Littlejohn mostly lives in a gated mansion in Florida. Andrew Neil mostly lives in Grasse in the South of France.

Thames Water: a water firm spending £200 million on lawyers to stop the government putting it into administration. Our bills are funding this – all so they can keep ripping us off. It's long past time for the government to step in and put Thames Water out of its misery.

Had Scotland voted Yes in 2014 we’d have negotiated acccess to our fishing waters in *our* terms. Instead, chained to the Union, WM has traded it away - again- as a bargaining chip, and not even discussed it with Scotland. You Yes yet? #YouYesYet

😳

Several parties have had real success yet we hear hardly anything in our broadcast media about them. 4x as many Greens, 9x as many Lib Dems (highest in 100 years) SNP & Plaid leading polls but none seen rise in coverage. Sign the petition now Democracy at Stake petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Oh FFS Labour! Stop dicking around on the edges and trying to fix silly little things... Grasp the nettle, and make the case for rejoining the EU as soon as they'll have us back. It's more important than ever now! www.bbc.com/news/article...

We celebrate our ‘island of strangers’, you don’t, just like Farage. We celebrated our union with Europe, and want to reestablish that union, you don’t, just like Farage. What in God’s name are you about?

Wordle 1,429 2/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Well, that made me happy!

We have a chance to improve our relationship + trading terms with the EU, give musicians + young people more freedom and make travel easier… And Brexiters are howling about betrayal, fish, ‘holding all the cards’ and immigration. Same lies. Same prejudice. And same failure if we don’t ignore them.

Scum

Reform is a Limited Company Farage owns 53% It was formed in 2019 to push for a “no-deal Brexit” It wants to reintroduce the Liz Truss budget It wants to privatise the NHS & invest in fossil fuels Close the BBC & break International law It’s a scam Please retweet widely

If this person sat next to you on a bus or train and started ranting about Bruce Springsteen in this way, you would get up and move to a different seat. In the United States, we have him the nuclear codes.

Neglecting important obligations to members of the public to pursue private business interests feels like a way of life for Reform, doesn't it Nigel Farage?

BREAKING: The politicians who take thousands of pounds in expenses and stuff their faces at a tax-payer subsidised canteen and get drunk at a tax-payer subsidised bar and enjoy a tax-payer subsidised second home want you to know it's wrong to take handouts from the state x

We didn't dream it! 😡💥 The respectful way Keir Starmer talked about foreign workers when he was running for Labour leader is the exact OPPOSITE of the Farage-cloned way he talks about them now. But to see it here in black & white is still SHOCKING! #RejoinEU 🇬🇧🇪🇺

Sounds like a plan

Well done Labour Anyone who thought you represented real change now despises you. Anyone who didn’t, still won’t. People who weren’t that convinced but hoped for the best are out of patience. You’ve managed to turn off everyone. Quite the achievement!

They told us we’d never leave the EU. They told us we’d never have Boris Johnson as PM. They told us Labour would deliver change. They will tell us they can stop Nigel Farage holding power. Britain is broken. Let’s take control of our own destiny as an independent nation.👇

This is all too depressing for words. What’s on offer for those of us that don’t obsess about immigration all day every day? When can we have government that actually helps people? www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

'Echoing the slogan used by Brexit campaigners during the 2016 EU referendum, Starmer said: “We will deliver what you’ve asked for time and again, and we will take back control of our borders.”' It's almost a decade on. Many have tried. All failed. Why? Because migrant workers prop up our economy!

It's the enormous wealth gap that estranges people, not immigrants enriching our varied culture & frequently keeping families together, such as the carers helping my 86-year-old mother cope with dad's dementia at home rather than in care. Starmer doesn't 'get it.' www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

Labour has a whopping great majority and four years left to turn this country around. They should be setting the agenda, not chasing about trying to placate voters of a party with five MPs who will never vote for them anyway. It's not only disappointing... it's embarrassing

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper says Labour will restrict the number of care workers from abroad. Going forward employers should recruit locally. One thing we learned from Brexit: Brits will not fill all those jobs that immigrants currently do.

Reform is rising - not because they have answers, but because they have control of the media! @Uklabour need to tackle Media ownership/control and step up with bold, working-class politics and stop the void bring filled with hate & division.

“Can you see a day when you say no care workers should come in from abroad?” - Laura Kuenssberg “Yes we do and we’re going to change the rules this year to prevent a care worker visa being used to recruit from abroad” - Home Secretary Yvette Cooper We already have a desperate shortage!
