Fascinating - thank you 😊
But why is it worse with ADHD? Or do we really just have 3 radios & a TV going on in the background?

I stayed at a place with a wine vending machine! Perhaps they should join up?

My dad had a Reliant Supervan when I was little (early 1970s). I said "Va Voom" & the wipers went. Say "Squirt" & the washers go. "Va voom squirt" gets both.
YEARS before I learned that it was buttons next to the pedals!
Apparently, I always picked mid complicated junction to shout it out 😁

Beautiful! 🥰 An absolute treasure trove.
I wish you well for your scan & sincerely wish that it yields the result that you need. 👍

I'm delivering our 1953 Coronation workshop on Friday. It's always fun trying to describe how few people had TVs then & folks crammed into neighbours' houses to watch.

I'm not sure which is better: your spectacular cheese board or the gloriously detailed alt text! 🥰🧀

Wouldn't it be great to find them now, in their 70s, & ask how things turned out for them?

I have just tonight (UK time) discovered your posts here. Loving reading your observations of happy moments. This one made me properly snort giggle out loud 😅

Was Julian the one who had herself walled into a tiny room and wrote down her visions?

His wife, daughter & granddaughter all had that name.
The middle one is the one I portray in our Roman Britain workshop, tackling Boudicca in 60CE.

Flavia - daughter of a Roman emperor & sister of two. Mother of a Saint. Wife of the head of the Legion who tried to stop Boudicca.
Maria - c17th artist who studied insect metamorphosis. Divorced her husband to travel to Suriname to paint insects.
Two kick-ass women!

The 'salary per pupil' column is particularly astonishing. Ramges from under £5 to more than £170!!! What The Actual ...??!!
How can they possibly justify that?

I've twice made an absolutely fantastic root veg tart tatin for Boxing Day dinner for veggie eldest & their partner. Carrot & parsnip, with Stilton & caramelised walnuts. Bloody awesome. Skip the syrup stage though.

How hands-on or automatic do you want it to be? Our best lockdown purchase was a faintly ridiculous De'longhi machine. Beans in here, water in there, shove on the milk container from the fridge, press buttons... cappuccinos & lattes in abundance. Well worth it.

Plenty of schools already do it very successfully.
I taught in a sch with a PAN of 45. 3 parallel classes each in y1/2, 3/4 & 5/6. 2-year cycles of topics. Shared planning. Worked well.
Having 2 years meant we had flexibility in progression & chn moved at their own pace.
