Better than what I was thinking, thank you. Still ridiculous though. It's not DEI ruining the government. π€‘

Did anyone in FWS have their performance review closed yesterday? My team did, can't be a good sign.

From the vet guide: "Retirees below the rank of major get RIF preference if retirement from the uniformed service is based on disability." (Nothing about %.) Also, if one retired with less than 20 years of active duty service. And if continuously employed since 1964.

We've been getting a lot of retired vets trying to get this changed lately who don't qualify. But your info is a good reminder for the rest!

This does not apply to some who retired from the military. There are guidelines in the OPM Vet Guide for those who qualify if retired. One way is retirement due to disability. It has to be reflected on the DD214.

Why did DOI force responses then? And to another shady email address? DOI leadership is sketchy, especially considering they keep signing emails with just a first name.

They couldn't even spell out each word fully in the email. They might not know how to spell approximately. There was nothing about failure to respond equates to resignation. π€‘

The long standing norm? The long standing norm is judges interpret law, not a fat orange man and his side chick.

You know you got them when they insult your intelligence. Or, with the orange guy, your looks and intelligence. They can't form a coherent comeback without insults because they know they have nothing.
