More than 50 years ago in a seventh grade geography class in Canada we coloured in a map of Florida showing which parts would be flooded under global warming. See South Indian monkey trap.

The problem is that many still support trump Let's face it, the US has many problems and so people support him . Trump is actually very good at highlighting the problems. And so people support him . The biggest problem is that Trump's solutions are often the absolute worst possible ones.

Would make a nice switch from the past. We lost our family doctor and her doctor husband 25 years ago when they left for Kentucky.

Vaccines have been wonderful. However some of the benefit was erased by the battles about providing contraception in the third world (see US evangelicals and RCs). Many of the places where vaccines helped the most now are horribly overpopulated. Not PC but overpopulation is a huge issue.

In a perverse way the world may be better off in the long run. The USA has sucked up top scientists from all over the world, concentrating research there. A more diverse platform of research institutions that is not US centric would be a good thing for us ( though not so much for the USA)

Can't even win an election in the town that knows him best. Loser!

Keep the elbows up. ...and talk to your neighbours. We need everyone boycotting us products and travel. ... and add Home Depot to the list (dropped Toronto pride sponsorship because of trump and DEI).

No more trump tacos needed. Expand the boycott Add Home Depot and Google which have just dropped sponsorship of Toronto's pride parade. Btw Firefox is far better than Chrome. Home hardware or Canadian Tire as HD subs. Keep the elbows up folks.

POS paper. They are screwing around with numbers with no context. Awful stuff.

Conservatives don't conserve anything except the money in their pocketbooks.

Third rate banana republic is what our southern neighbour has become.

Canada needs to withdraw it's ambassador.

Why the world is putting up with clear genocide is beyond understanding. For the Jews to do this after what had been done to them is also beyond understanding. All humans are human. But apparently some feel they are more human than others.

Just like most cities in China have already done.

"A career free life" Sadly long out of print.

Like why would we be thinking the climate is important. Must make more $$$. Trump is the root cause of this.

Well that confirms the obvious. There is nothing but corruption if the Ontario conservatives are involved.

More stupidity from down south. They seem to have an enormous excess of it down there.

Wait until you see what happens south of the border. That will be epic.

Another reason to always be wary of developers.

Found out recently that Taiwan went to a zero blood alcohol level if you are driving. No grey area. It's zero if you drive.

The conservative playbook. Never support conservatives if you want a more just society not dependent on how rich you are.

Little mentioned fact - Canada is paying 1 - 1.25 % less on its debt than the US across all terms. That is a massive saving for Canada and a huge cost for the US. If the US had Canada's rates it would depend about $400 Billion less each year in interest.

The religious nuts are helping either.

Unfortunately we now live just north of a third rate banana republic. Boycott - stronger than ever.

Interestingly Canada is now consistently paying 1% to one and a quarter percent less on its debt than the US has to pay. The US debt/deficit situation is out of control. They have a solution that involves raising taxes but that seems to be politically impossible. The bond vigilantes are coming.

His book "The Myth of Normal" was great. Mate's empathy & understanding of trauma is outstanding. Every bomb in GAZA must pierce his own heart. This "ashamed Jew" (below) is also inspiring.
