Legitimately trying not to think about this as I want to have another baby and I have a toddler who I really don't want to get Covid!

My brother is extremely into Star Wars especially cerebral political new Star Wars and whenever he talks to me about Andor I'm like "...dude can I possibly interest you in the religion that you were raised in?"
comment in response to post
Yess! Like Star Wars is about fascism but it's also about having a lightsaber fight with your brother when you're 8 years old.

Seriously are these people not putting nuts on their salads? I feel like the problem for this sandwich is the bread. I think it wants to be on something with a little more texture.

I loved books like this as a kid and would love something like this. I've been buying Eyewitness books whenever I see them in the thrift store but that's a different vibe. Spent a lot of summer afternoons reading encyclopedias in the hammock in the backyard.

I resent how many of the songs from that album have been used in commercials because it's so perfect.

I've seen a few MCDO commercials which are very funny but nothing else from Karabinchak and Stanley here in LD-18.

We finished it last night and now I feel like we need to have a full Star Wars marathon.

This is such a great beer! I had a can of Austin Cider Brut but it's in the recycling bin.

I wanted a vespa so bad when I was a teenager and we rented a scooter and went from Lisbon to Sintra when we were in Portugal and it was so much fun. Scootered all over Bermuda too. This might be my dream vehicle. hondanews.com/en-US/photos...

True. My apartment is 1000ish sq ft but my house is 100 years old and essentially has no closets. The redevelopment is theoretically moving along though which will mean new apartments that will probably have closets.

She loves being on the bike and I do not love driving but biking on Rt 27 requires an actual death wish so here we are.

Sheesh you could get an apartment for a lot less in Highland Park and be closer to a train station and actually be able to walk to things.

Like oh I'm so sorry you were too busy taking a picture of the toddlers with your ipad to read the whole bill

We could sneak in expanded Medicaid too. The boomers will be too distracted by the cuteness of the overalls.

And yes this child has a guitar, a drum, a piano and a xylophone so if you were wondering why my brain has turned to soup there it is.

I was once a teenager who acted like I hated Robin in the Rain but I was wrong. The robin in the rain really is a saucy fellow.

Is Angels in America a film? It's only a little long...

Everybody wants to protest outside an ICE detention center. Nobody wants to make brownies

We have tiny teacups if you want a tiny cup of the worst coffee. We run a fair trade store why aren't we using that coffee?

I went to a Unitarian baby welcoming ceremony thing and they had good coffee in real mugs at coffee hour and I still think about it sometimes.

Yep same here. I got poked at by the MCDO for not sending my ballot back yet since I'm on committee but like...I'm not ready!

I think there's so much going on nationally that people aren't paying attention. I'm a policy wonk and a committeeperson for my town so I've been starting a lot of conversations about the primary with people and so far outside my immediate social circle people don't even know who's running.

I cackled. Sweeney's accent is the best part of these debates.

There was one that was just a commercial for charter schools! What!

Debate being sponsored by Crypto and Uber is more than a little dystopian.

Excited to watch it! My neighborhood is currently full of Baraka signs and they were handing them out at our town farmers market on Friday.

I've been thinking about it a lot especially with the Afrikaners.

Does the PCUSA have the Belhar Confession as one of their confessions? That's a good one for these times...

I thought Van Morrison was saying "Can I just make some moon romance with you" in Moondance until like last month. Spent a lot of time wondering what moon romance was.

Are their lives just so boring? I think about these ladies and the ones watching their kids like hawks on the playground and I'm just like...am I in the wrong because I never think about things like this?

Yeah it's so much work to do that kind of reading. What's also interesting about this to me is I wonder how much literary criticism these English majors had to read. I had to read a lot of that and was expected to be able to come to class and understand and talk about stuff like New Criticism.
