We need coordinated change. Address media, money and FPTP. Where is your MP on this [email protected]

Please consider supporting this cross party bill. It is stalled in Parliament because all parties , except LibDem and Greens are playing power games with UK future. The climate and nature breakdown is not an “ideological “ issue, it is fact and we have to prepare, not have civil “power” war.

I think very few people get paid to talk about a) really interesting stuff b) with really nice people c) in a really cool place and this week I got to do all 3 at #tictec in Mechelen! Sorry (not sorry) to brag but @mysociety.org are the best and I just wanna say thanks to everyone who came!

Keep it up Labour😤. This is issue for full population and cannot be planned by parties focused on power.Meaningful, informed opinions by real cross section of society based on reality ( not half truths/lies from those seeking power) needed to decide what type of future we want for the country.

UK tax system is a regressive, &underpins inefficient, unfair land use/short sighted private profit development, all working against sustainable and fair society. Need coordinated plan/adjustment, not selected “tweaks” for show leaving fundamental problem untouched. rpieurope.org/the-slow-mov...

We urgently need higher motor taxes and parking charges for SUVs and other larger vehicles. They cause enormous damage to both human and our environment. This must be reflected in the cost of owning an SUV.

Al Gore said in 2023 "the UK Government is seemingly in the pocket of the fossil fuel companies" www.youtube.com/shorts/NkDMU... I hate to say it—as I had hoped for better with Labour—but this new @bylinetimes.bsky.social article shows that Big Oil's grip on the UK Gov remains as strong as ever👇👇

This is just one of the consequences of continuing to burn fossil fuels and keeping too much livestock. The Amazon rainforest has a tipping point, beyond which there's no saving it. Scientists don't know exactly when we'll cross it. 🚨We need emergency action now🚨

We were outside parl’t this morning, ahead of this afternoon’s Comprehensive Spending Review. Unfortunately, the gov’t is expected to announce a raft of cuts to public services. This is a political choice. They should make the super-rich pay their fair share of taxes instead.

One of the most privatised education systems in the world - and this would entrench privilege even more. A two-tier system - bloated edifices for the rich and the rest can go to Scrapheap High. Appalling

We need coordinated climate and nature plan , putting real people at the center of such plan. Chasing siloed issues just allows status quo to continue. Support stalled #CANBILL in the UK. @zero hour

I can't help worrying that a future history book about this Starmer Government will be titled 'Squandered'.

BBC oversight needs to be taken out of political party ( and their funder) domain and given independence to ensure public service is provided. Leaving political parties to govern this is putting fox in chicken coop. How do we think it will turn out? @appgfairelection

There are numerous alternatives to full nationalisation to endure this critical service monopoly best serves the people and economy of the country ( just look around the world!!). @CliveLewis’s #WaterBill is a good start. Keeping the status quo is not sane option.

Yes. One of 3 main points of @appgfairelections. Your MP regardless of party should be supporting.
