Yup. I’m a relatively well-off, college-educated suburban woman (white) who used to go at least once a week. (In Minnesota there’s a Target on every corner.) Stopped cold-turkey when they dropped DEI. It was easier than I thought it would be. Doubt I’ll go back even if they change policies.

Well, they renamed National Airport after Reagan—the king of firing air traffic controllers. (Look up PATCO if you’re too young to remember.) Without Reagan, we wouldn’t have this chump.

In the first few months of 2023, because of understaffing, we were getting our mail every 2 weeks (on Sunday). It’s not like we’re rural. We live in a first-ring, affluent suburb. It’s going to happen again.
