What is more frustrating about Americans seeing EU institutions as this sort of liberal wonderland is not realising they're mostly ran by parties where most of the fascists spawned off as a response to the 2008 financial crisis and refugees escaping wars initiated by them in the middle east.

As someone who grew up in the non-proliferation as a "big thing you learned at school" era, all it takes is five minute of watching liberals, neocons and fascists all holding hands on bombing Iran to realise maybe rather than non-proliferation it should have been "every country gets a nuke".

Time to buy ten thousand of them and hope the funniest thing happens?

Time for the obligatory "the jump Shilton did is on a 1:1 scale" joke.

Don't give them any ideas, they'll think this will be the Iranian air force "in 5 years".

I've been saying variations of "illegal only means there might be consequences for something, if nobody enforces the law it's indistinguishable from legal" for ages, and we know how the more money or power someome has, the more laws become merely a suggestion of conduct.

I saw Kristol shifting economically as a way of self-preservation because there's so much contradictions one can handle (unless you are dem leadership), but war on Middle East is something you'll never take away from him unless he's given his marching orders to the front line.

(the continuing are MuuMuu and Witch Watch, returning is Kaiju no 8, new ones are City, Bad Girl and See You On The Food Court, because I made a joke about the name once and want to do it again)

I think I have... something like 6 marked down, which is a lot for my dumbass posts. Three are new,, two are continuing and one is returning.

City the Animation is probably going to be my favourite.

Ir would be incredibly funny if the BBC started to get impartiality complaints and the reason was "no I am not", the more frivolous the better.

noticed an uptick on triangulators after Obama dropped another of his nuggets of wisdom and people called out that he inherited Stage 2 of fascism and did nothing to push back, as if it's ok the autocracy machine is there as long as the right people are in charge.

Yikes. If that's the way things are going, I'll probably just cut off YouTube for the most part.

Now I need to know who's the Al Davis - very successful early on, someone who rocked the industry, then spent the later half of his life failing miserably.
Hell, the Trump - arrived at a position do the same as Davis, but instead of following a careful plan, blew it all up by being a dumbass.

For those who don't know, that was a game that got 14k in attendance, in a stadium with 130k total. Likely because Lisbon is on the edge of Europe, it was before free movement and cheap flights, and neither club was a big mover of people, at a time neutrals feared hooliganism.

For a while, Portugal NT ticketing was with the biggest supermarket chain, who offered half of the tickets in store credit, and they were cheap, starting at 15 or 20€ if not less. Keep in mind this is a football obsessed country with at the time one of the two front-runners for the Ballon d'Or.

Well, a bunch of chemicals that give a smokey pork flavour is probably vegan, I just think nobody wants to think too deeply of that.

I still put the decline in enjoyment here down to going from a place everyone was a poaster or was into poasting to an increasing number of people who think "elonia" is the peak of comedy and only laugh at Colbert after the audience does it.

I never got to try to use that thing used to repair tires with minor punctures on a football, but I probably wouldn't try on that one.
Plus, the bladder might be more holes than rubber at that age.

I really think you could buy a PC there and in the same month depending on the alignment of the stars it could be 350 euro cheaper or more expensive. That's not really a good way to build trust.

One thing I've noticed is that their prices are usually all over the place, I recall when I was looking into upgrading an old SFF, it was impossible to get an idea on prices, a graphics card oscillated between 65 and 115.

If I was told to join something that could get me in trouble, if they said calls to actions would be done with Board of Canada sample shit on their big social media I'd nope out pretty fast because it's either a larp and they don't know what they're doing or getting everyone arrested for conspiracy.

In the invite era people got the "ignore, block, move on" message very early which kept things tidy. With every exodus we get people who have spent years wallowing in twitter filth and brought their behaviour with them... while also telling anyone criticising their faves to "go back to twitter".

The "no politics or drama" thing is always funny because soooooo many of those people are pathologically unable to stick with that and start ranting about "wokeness" the moment they see something they don't like.

I'm pretty sure a lot of times the US acted on bad intel, but the Iraq war surely was on the "complete fabrication" side of things and a lot of people could tell it in 2003.
Oh, wow, they have *metallic tubes* I'm sure those are only used to make nuclear missiles.

the weird thing about these accounts is that they could have kept this shit in the down low and make a few bucks from tshirts, but for some reason do the most off-putting side of resist shit, pretend to do numbers station shit and then antagonize people who *are* federal workers with their name out.

All these people believe something... Until they are shown a point further in the direction of social conservatism and they immediately go "ah! Interesting. Might get me a byline on The Times defending it. It's what I believe in now."

Yeah, it's great to walk at night without fear because I know I'm a vaguely managing, above average height guy. But how does the "previlege" calculation works with doing that walk at night because there was fuck all to eat all day and my brain was just shorting?
comment in response to

I've always said that *the fuck* I'm going to be lectured about "previlege" by elite college educated, blue link parents, well off, with access to write columns in major publications, who then treat those things as something natural they take no advantage from.

Watched cable news here for 5 minutes and it's complete US twitter bluecheck brainrot. Media has just debased itself to the point there isn't anything worth saving in mainstream media institutions, all are either ideologically or financially captured.
