I like looking at and making art, rolling dice, playing stuff and throwing cardboard cards.

The robber was actually very knowledgeable about Magic, but he just so happaned to find the Homelands pile first and thought "nah this ain't worth it."

I never played FF, but hearing a MTG player saying "Ysholta" repeatedly for like ten minutes hit me real hard.

Obviously not talking about cEDH (I don't play it), but for me, casual EDH is a sort of excuse to see my friends and have fun together, kinda like a boardgame.
Making a strong EDH is extremely easy and boring, which is why I gravitate towards thematic, funny, and/or interesting decks more.

It's very reminiscent of MDFC lands like Hagra Mauling.
I can see it being a bit clunky on the "T1 Ashnod >> 2-mana sac fodder" curve, but it depends on how many tapped lands you already play.
I got 2 tapped lands, two "swamp check" lands and 5 colorless lands and Marit Lage, so I might not add it

I wasn't around for Strixhaven standard, but I think it has some of the coolest cards and a very interesting setting. I want them to revisit!

I'm a big fan of the Zendikar aesthetic, and the warm, cloudy backgrounds fit it perfectly! Stunning work.

Probably scrapped from appearing in the main set, so they just added it through the Alchemy set. It could totally be printed in paper, but it just wasn't.

This doesn't seem ridiculous to me at all. I actually think this wouldn't see competitive play even if it was in the standard set.
3 tokens for 2 mana sounds like a lot, but they have very mild value o their own. I can't think of a deck that would benefit from all of these.

I was initially indifferent towards Loot, but all the (in my opinion) unwaranted hate and animosity towards him makes me like him more in a way.

Magic is a multiverse of different flavors of fantasy. Most recent have been very thematic (Duskmourn is 80s horror, Bloomburrow is woodland beings, Aetherdrift is an interplanar racing). They're aesthetically distinct, but that's kinda the point. Like how Innistrad, Zendikar and Lorwyn are unique.

The card was already cool, but the card elevates it to another level. Amazing work as always!
