Hopefully desal tech gets cheaper, because water is probably only going to get more expensive. So maybe it’s not the best deal rn, but is that water going to be worth 10 years from now?

Wow, that’s such a cool connection! Though with our current algorithmic content environment I’m skeptical that ppl will actually realize they are being deceived. It’s one thing for a single pamphlet to lie, it’s another if your entire information sphere is misinforming you and your community
