The crowd is massive. It appears random when police begin grabbing them. Even the negotiator is taken, after earlier he’d shook their hands.

New Yorker tries to negotiate. But this is a police dept that has a very long history of unnecessary force use. It looks like they’re letting some cars through, but only to get their cars in. Negotiations end and the man who tried is visibly facepalming in disappointment at police the vans.

STROBE WARNING FOR LIGHT SENSITIVITY 👇 Attention over to NYC though bc NYPD just angered the crowd with an impromptu arrest. NYPS uses a strobe flash on the crowd. This makes everything worse. They’re trying to shut down the massive protest. No one’s happy. Crowd verbally tears into officers.

I had posted the wrong protest vid for Denver. But Denver did protest today. I will find some from today. They may still be marching.

You’re right I was trying to share today’s and accidentally downloaded one from 4/16 ty

Brookhaven is angry. They’re not planning on leaving. Somewhere in the crowd are ICE agents.

Atlanta knows it’s gonna get ugly. And here comes ICE to poach what police don’t finish.
comment in response to post
It’s not looking good for the Atlanta protest.
comment in response to post
Confirmed that protest I posted was in Atlanta and now SWAT is trying to shut it down.

The entire nation marches against what Trump is doing, but in LA protesting may as well be illegal.
comment in response to post
An absolutely ridiculous police presence.

Back in LA, the police fill a bus with arrested protesters. The city’s downtown looks like a police state.
comment in response to post
Just in case I’m wrong.
comment in response to post
I am almost positive that is Atlanta. But I don’t want to be held to that.

There’s so many, you guys, I don’t know where all of them are taking place. We really are rising up. City after city, town after town, all saying we love our immigrants. All saying the hate must stop. The people fight to keep our country together.

Chicago is going full on into the evening!

Back on TX, Dallas also had protests Monday. I’m checking now if that’s continued today.

Well that would definitely do it. When Philadelphia gets mad it’s hard to quell it.
comment in response to post
I know Philly had an anti ICE protest Sunday, but I haven’t heard any problems out of my old stomping grounds. I’ll keep checking but can’t find why the police are gathering up.
comment in response to post
Philly cops have decided they want to be in the chat. I have no idea why yet.

Didn’t need the “and senate in there”. But no edit button and it takes forever to load those videos.
comment in response to post
Back in California, Orange County demands congress and senate take action against ICE and POTUS. Calls ICE “rogue”.

She’s got some numbers I’ll try to get them from her later. Thanks for telling me!
comment in response to post
I ADORE HER!
comment in response to post
Wow. Easily 10,000. It just goes on forever.
comment in response to post
That number is also growing as more people are off work now.
comment in response to post
Estimate on NYC protests number is near 10,000 NYers . Will try to get a better number later.
comment in response to post
Still don’t know where this is yet. But they’re ready to stop Trump and ICE as well.
comment in response to post
It is nationwide. People are simply fucking done. They’re going straight to protests after work. They’re taking off work. They’re finished with this tyranny.
comment in response to post
Meanwhile a small town somewhere is also done waiting for weekends to cry out against Trump’s dictatorship.
comment in response to post
I had to listen to it three times to make sure he hadn’t said 4 to 5 blocks. Maybe he’s mathing weird. Maybe he’s serious. We won’t have real numbers unless the media bothers to cover it.
comment in response to post
That is insane.
comment in response to post
The streamer estimates 45 blocks.
comment in response to post
Back in NYC the protest is huge and growing.
comment in response to post
In Santa Ana protesters square off against an unknown force. They are not city cops and I can’t tell if they’re ICE either. But then we can’t really identify ICE. It’s all the same now.

Back in LA, the horses are headed in.
comment in response to post
People are done. They’re cashing in their sick and vacay days. They’re calling in sick. They’re marching.
comment in response to post
Meanwhile in NYC, the protesters are on the march. It’s massive.
comment in response to post
The crowd begins to chant. Abolish ICE. The police give them 5 minutes to leave.
comment in response to post
It is pure dystopia. Not a single crowd member armed, facing an army of guns and batons.
comment in response to post
A woman marches in front of the armed men, waving an inverted US flag. We are in distress.

Out on the streets, @reuters.com begins streaming for the second day, the heavy police presence that Angelinos have dealt with since Friday.
comment in response to post
The first speech is longer but that clip gave more officials’ comments on the situation. So I thought it merited showing as well.
comment in response to post
Sorry for the repetitive clip at the end but I thought maybe you’d like to see the whole thing.
comment in response to post
Back to California officials addressing the situation. As Trump continues to threaten our most prosperous states in the nation.
comment in response to post
Both cities chant the same battle cry. To get ICE out.

NYC stands in solidarity with LA today
