Indeed, Musk's interference in British politics has to be investigated, and actions need to be taken to regulate how social media platforms are influencing political decisions and favouring hate discourses over democratic choice and actual freedom of speech.

It'd be my pleasure to explain some of the benefits and challenges of PR, as I live in Spain (unfortunately) and that's the system we use, but the limit of characters makes it impossible. I am sceptical of PR for many reasons, I wonder if there's a way to improve FPTP without fully scrapping it.

PR is not what you think, it still facilitates a two-party system in which minor parties in larger constituencies are left with no chances at all. FPTP is not perfect, yet you elect representatives that work for their communities instead of party lists filled with candidates that don't wanna stand.

Her performance has been awful today. She even mentioned that petition to have another GE (maybe that did happen in July?) and wasn't able to connect the dots on the questions. So easy for the PM, he doesn't even have to say anything.

I wouldn't jump into conclusions that early, nor would I translate local by-elections results into Holyrood seats' predictions, like Labour is doing. But I wish you the best!

It's deeply concerning that a Labour government is controlled by big corporations like this one. BlackRock has been profiteering during the last 2 years from the war in Ukraine, at the expense of human lives. They even benefit from public contracts in some European countries like Spain.

Are then right-wing politicians trying to capitalise on the discontent of farmers due to longstanding neglect in policies to tackle poverty in rural communities? Which are the real risks for small farms?
comment in response to post
That's right, but small farmers are still struggling, not because of the new gov's policies but due to structural causes that can't be explained in a single "tweet". What would you say to the farmers protesting today? Because Reform is capitalising on their frustration.

There is a line between disagreement and abuse that we are sadly crossing in recent times. These people are frustrated with the whole political system but hatred and polarisation drive them to attack a specific person. Hope you don't have to go through this anymore.
