I don’t think Illinois sucks. I mean, I’m a big fan of Governor Pritzker, and my representatives in Washington are good people. I’m glad we’re getting some new people in, but that slogan doesn’t cut it for me.

That was awesome. But there is a legitimate reason behind those crazy contract requests. The “snack clauses” helped alert the tour manager to spot a venue that didn’t read the contract properly. The road crew would then have to verify all their contracted items were properly handled.

But it’s probably the one animal I wouldn’t be allergic to.

That is awesome! (The music.)
That is disappointing. (The lack of references in the NYT.)
I am not getting married, but if I were, I’d want the piano arrangement for the Avengers theme.

I see right through you, Wilson.
You want us to react to the glorious, magnificent wood table again. But, ok, the lights are nice, too, I guess…

I felt that way with the Wedding Singer. It was set in 1985, and I heard a song that came out after 1985.

Well, she’s now the only good Senator from my state.

It’s amazing that the public loves left leaning policies, right? You didn’t have to patronize me, but you did.

You’re the one throwing labels around for values we used to consider non-partisan. If you missed my point, we’re done here.

This is my district. I remember when a pastor endorsed by Joel Osteen had his ass handed to him when he ran against Jan. We are a deep blue district. I think she’d fit in with the younger wave of congressional Democratic representatives.

Clean air and water initiatives started with that renowned leftist, Richard Nixon, when he created the EPA. 🙄

James needs to hang up his hat. His way is old news. I love my governor. My senior senator from Illinois? Not so much.

Frankly, I would pick Nepothuselah. But of course the eunuch has nothing of substance to criticize you about, so “vocal fry” is the best insult he’s got. Typical.

You coined the phrase “poolside meth vibe”, and I knew exactly what you meant. You’re going to think I’m nuts, but the the quiet pool in the 1950s section of Disney’s Pop Century resort had 50s music playing, and it was the most enjoyable pool music. I loved it.

We can’t change the past, but we can acknowledge that while there were many good things he did, he made mistakes like this one.

No. It’s not their fucking jobs to do so. They are all private citizens. It has nothing to do with stepping on toes and everything to do with pushing our elected representatives to do better.
I never thought I needed to push Durbin not to obey in advance, but here we are. He’s on my call list.

I didn’t think I needed to call Durbin, but now he’s on my call list for everything from now through next year. Grrrr.

I work in Chicago, but my boss lives in OK. I was on a Teams call with her when I heard her get startled by a large boom. It was her neighbor’s tree. She texted me pictures of two trees that were knocked down by the crazy winds. They are lucky these trees didn’t cause damage or hurt anyone.

Leave the Obamas alone. They do not owe us ANYTHING. I appreciate them for what they’ve done. They deserve a life of peace after all the bullshit thrown at them.

I took advantage of that when I was going through chemotherapy. I had wheelchair assistance to the gate, but I was able to walk the short distance to the seat. I normally qualify for boarding group 2, but it was nice to get settled earlier.

Ok, I get that. But that they don’t avoid gay characters at all was enough to drive certain actors away. And several gay actors portray straight people.

No, it’s not right wing. How do I know? Candace Cameron Buré stopped working with Hallmark. My theory is that she left because the movies started having LGBTQIA characters in them.
