Billionaires with portable rights have little to lose by speaking up. I've seen them tiptoeing around the edges but nobody comes straight out and said what needs to be said.

What's crazy to me is DJT is getting most of his agenda through. Then they just go out of their way to be extra evil for absolutely no (logical) reason.

I think he overestimated his hand. He's trying to backtrack now and find anyway out that makes it look like a win but China's not going to let him off easy.

This administration seems to be purposefully choosing targets (little kids, spouses of servicemembers, students with different political views). They like the outrage it brings cause its saying look we can deport anyone we want to the rest of you need to shut up and get with the program.

Despite the recovering stock market we seem to be teetering on the brink of recession. People aren't going to commit with so much economic uncertainty.

I think shorter attention spans, media that focuses on outrage as opposed to the facts, and a guy who's 100% a bad actor are reasons the system is being tested.

I look back fondly on his first term when it was just him firing people and getting nothing actually done.

Seems like a good time if you're going to be making any big purchases. Ofc this could all end tomorrow or go on for years. That's the fun part!

CFPB is truly a waste to the current administration. The only thing they do is to protect the averate citizen from getting screwed.

Made sense that companies don't want to allocate capex for new development with all the chaos. Also makes sense they would move existing infrastructure out.

I think people want the livable wage from the past. Not so much the assembly lines and working in coal factories.

Yeah it was probably a setup anyways but they should have clapped at least it would show they can think on their feet and the kid deserved it regardless.

Musk and Vance are too far gone. There's plenty of other people in his orbit that know better though.
