Ridiculous.

Sure, in the South Carolina primary. But look at the results of that endorsement. President Biden ended up getting the US into two major wars and handed the keys of the White House back to Trump. You can't say that Clyburn does what's in the interest of voters.

What influence does Clyburn really have outside of his district / state? New Yorkers probably have no idea who he even is.

I always use the easy setting on video games when there is one. Life is too short to get angry and frustrated over a game you're trying to play to unwind.

PDFgear maybe... I don't use those functions but I definitely have enjoyed not using Acrobat anymore.

I absolutely love this movie.

That must have been a hell of an experience. Who are your other favorite doctors? Troughton and Tom Baker are probably mine.

I consider Pertwee my favorite Doctor and assessing his era, I'd have to say that my top story is The Curse of Peladon and season is 10.

Absolutely! Darrow was a central reason that show is so compelling. I've certainly enjoyed rewatching it since season 1 was released on blu ray recently and particularly enjoy watching his performance and the new special effects.

Right wing / centrist Dems tend to unquestioningly assume the point of view that activists are always a nuisance from the media, without ever applying an analysis of the manner in which monied interests dictate coverage.

The Dems didn't use it in 2016, 2020 or 2024 for just this reason. Talking about Epstein now when Trump is likely not going to be on the ballot again is pretty pointless unless tied to other GOP officials who have been involved with similar controversies.

King's Knight too! That's a good one.

Reminds me of Adventures of Dino Riki on the NES. I'm looking forward to getting this.

The central mystery of the death of a positronic robot is fairly engaging and there are plenty of twists and turns before the reveal at the very end of the novel. Asimov's writing clearly improved throughout his career and it's too bad that the first book wasn't as cohesive.

Richard Stanley is going to have a tough time topping it, that's for sure.

I love the score and the psychedelic vibe is pretty strong with this film.

This is the correct answer.

Biden is a failure, the Democratic party is a failure and your ideology is a failure. Everything you believe is fanfiction in the face of reality.

Biden did fail the nation. He handed the presidency back to Trump and his democratic apologists can say anything they want in his defense, but this is the result of their political project.

Yep, instant buy and it would be one of my most cherished art books.

The prequels definitely turned me away from the franchise. I can't say that I have any interest in viewing anything in that universe beyond those first three films. There are just too many original and untapped artistic works there to get hung up on a corporate monopoly backed IP like Star Wars.

All the experience in the world doesn't matter if the person is a selfish, ideologically captured shithead like many of the leadership and voters in the Democratic Party.

It looks as though an adaptation of Little Lost Robot from the Out of this World series still exists.... bsky.app/profile/valo...

Totally agree. The Final Wars version of Gigan is pretty cool too....

The interplay between Baley and Gladia totally makes this story. Anyway, onto The Robots of Dawn.

By the way, there was a 1969 BBC adaptation of this story on Out of the Unknown tv series that unfortunately was wiped like those early Doctor Who episodes. Feel free to cry with me as you look at the existing stills from it.... Those costumes and set look incredible!

A stop-motion animated adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson in the style of their 2022 film Pinocchio. It could either be a two hour film or cut up into a tv show, maybe with 12 episodes. Mockman needs to be a consultant!
