2hrs in the garden, me working, Elsie chasing flying rings and trying to run off with my tidy tub. I'm having tea and cheesecake, stuff the healthy diet, I've earned it.

After nearly a week of painfully early starts and late walks to avoid the worst of the heat, Elsie and I both slept a bit later and are having a slow start. I think I've got about another 15 minutes before she starts werreting for play (she's been out for the loo at 7 and went back to bed)

Murrayfield Ice Rink in Edinburgh are selling their enormous vinyl collection that they built up over the years to play to skaters. Every Top 40 single for decades! Incredible collection. I had a good night's sleep last night in the heat as I wore cotton PJ's and slept under a woolen cellular blanket, one of the "old fashioned" things I brought from mum's. It seems counterintuitive to use a wool blanket but natural fibres are the best.

Guide dog puppy in training at the railway station with an experienced ambassador dog to help. Part of an accessibility and awareness session, plus a good opportunity for the pup. This was early before it got too hot.
