Well, your followers might be fans AND after Wizard Kitty's catnip cookie collection. Levon heard about them and currently is searching every grocery tote in the house!

Laughed at your recent dating profile allergy pic (sneezing cat gif) but just pose for a selfie with Ace & potential romantic interests will be clamoring to connect. Okay, maybe I'm projecting, but there's nothing more appealing than a man & his cat.

Thanks for this! I've been feeding Milo since last August & he still doesn't trust me. Oh well! We have very cold winters so I bought him a little heated shelter, but now it's getting hot. Just ordered an outdoor fountain & I'll follow other tips here. My spoiled cats Oscar & Levon are SO jealous!

I want to believe she's a selkie, and not simply suicidal. This painting--the style, the subject matter--reminds me of Caspar David Friedrich's work. Love it.

Levon (the cat I'm holding here) is the same way with the cellphone camera. His twin brother Oscar could care less. Once early on--after adopting them from a cat rescue group--I forgot the flash was on. Levon has never forgotten this trauma or forgiven me in 11 years.

You must also be a Terry Pratchett fan, too!

Thx! Oscar & Levon are twins from a cat rescue group in L.A. & 11 yrs old. Their siblings were grey & white w/ green eyes, but we already had 3 older cats, so we only got one bonded pair. I love ginger tabbies (like your cat!) & it was love at 1st sight. They're so sweet & the best boys.

Hi! I love sci-fi & fantasy, and I used your link -- your novella is available through KindleUnlimited. I downloaded it to read, BUT do authors get any money this way? I feel both good and bad...

Thanks for sharing this of Gus chasing his tail. So adorable & the perfect microdose of hope!

I just learned there was a remake of 'Effie Briest' in 2000-something, but I meant Rainer Werner Fassbinder's 1974 version. Hanna Schygulla is an incredible actress & she's amazing as Effi. When I want Gothic, I want no anachronisms. And I can follow directions :)

Effie Briest--1974 film by Fassbinder, based on Theodor Fontane's 19th-century German Gothic novel. Film captures the moodiness & creepiness of the novel. About a 17-yr old sheltered teen married off to a man who's her parents' age. He takes her away to his haunted (?) mansion in the isolated north.

I cheated this year. I had hip replacement surgery in mid March & thought I'd have no garden this summer. But I'm doing well & I bought 5 baby tomato plants yesterday, 3 Sungold & 2 Supersweet 100s. I know, it's cheating but we'll have yummy tomatoes later.

He has to hide his baldness in bright sunlight. Also, without sun protection, he might go up in flames into ashes, like any other bloodsucking vampire.

Love this film, thanks for a reminder to rewatch.

But I do want to join Canada! What if you all just accept Washington state Please? I actually think the MAGA crowd would be happy if the entire West Coast seceded from the U.S. And hey, Oregon & Calif. are nice, too. Maybe it's time to start a MoveOn petition (pops up in my brain).

I was up at 5 AM, so I get it. Levon, one of my two cats, wasn't ready to get out of bed! I cleaned our bathroom & got the spare room set up for cat lockup today due to repair people coming over. Gotta head to work--hey, shouldn't our days be over at 8 AM when we start at 5 AM? Love your cat!

Thanks! I'm super lucky to have matching creamsicle kitties :) Oscar & Levon are twins & 11 yrs old. I adopted them in Los Angeles from a great cat rescue (Carson Cats) group when they were about 4 months old.

Levon, too. He's psychic on salad nights, I swear. Even before I take out the greens or dressing, he's planted on the kitchen mat, waiting. It's kinda creepy...

A gazillion fans of the series had the same worries-I was one of them-but Skarsgard is amazing in this role. He had me at the moment of forced eye contact with Gurathin. Or maybe while trying to smile at Arada reassuringly. Or as he described the activities of the Preservation "space hippies." Or --

My partner subscribed to Apple+ as a surprise so I could watch Murderbot on 5/16. It was either out of love or in hopes I'd stop talking about the books non-stop if I was watching the entertainment feed. It worked! LOVED the first 2 episodes & can't wait for next Friday. And he's a fan now, too!

Thanks for this intro! I lived in Germany as a university student but never heard of this '70s band. I was there in the late '80s & early '90s-my friends listened to non-German music because most German pop/rock was dreck. (Except Einstürzende Neubauten, saw same year as Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds!)
