Also, make sure you go in small groups so you can protect each other en-route, have a plan for safely getting away at the end of action, and make sure at least one person in the group has a first aid kit. Use burner phones in case you get nabbed - less evidence against others (and you) the better.

If I knew how to, I'd set up a comp myself. Have some prizes, anyone can take part, some lessons about the environment, how to fish, how to bone and scale. It'd be chill. Then have a BBQ pit for cooking the fish at the end, so everyone can feast.
