Yes, it can be done in Postgres. I use db prefetch and select related in Django ORM. They reduces the number of db queries. geeksforgeeks.org/prefetch_rel...

I wish I could accept who follows or replies to me instead of blocking accounts in public. Blocking becomes useless when number of spam accounts is bigger than number of real accounts. Maybe we will get privacy at the protocol level in the next iteration of @bsky.app.
