This video is gold, unlike the gold spray painted plastic phone 😂

As things continue to devolve and censorship increases, there's many things about your own safety & security you haven't considered until now. Created a class to help you navigate your OPSEC, answer questions & understand your threat model. lockdownyourlife.as.me/privacy-class

how being ND affects my career 🪿 (i always hesitate to self diagnose but what i can talk about are my symptoms & how it shows up for me personally)

And now, our national anthem:

Pretty sad that this is a pretty good signal intelligence indicator lol

New Yorkers scream out each officer’s lawsuits against them for excessive force and more upon their city, right to their faces while protesting.

Nobody asked for this 😅 I turned it off as much as I could and it's damn scary it did all those descriptions and named itself that though @2600.com

“Today’s legal victory sends a crystal-clear message: Americans’ private data stored with the government isn’t the personal playground of unelected billionaires,” Everett Kelley, president of EFF client AFGE, told @bloomberglaw.com.

What a quote.

Gotta know when to take advantage of opportunities 🤣

I already had a dialogue with this county clerk in CO since their county was posting marriage index online, despite marriage licenses being confidential per statute. I followed up on that since the legislature passed some more marriage license legislation under the Kelly Loving Act. See below :)

So excited for this :)

If you're wondering what price increases are looking like in a world with Trump tariffs, here's a glimpse.

A Texas sheriff used 83,000+ license plate reader cameras to track a woman “suspected of having an abortion.” The reason listed in the record: “had an abortion, search for female.”

You know it's bad enough we had to fight to change perception on the word hacker, and still have to. You didn't have to go ruin phreaker too @merriam-webster.com -- for the record the actual definition is someone who has an interest in telephony and explores the phone system. cc @2600.com

New from 404 Media: ICE just paid Palantir tens of millions for "complete target analysis of known populations." Shows Palantir is actively working on, and updating, the technical infrastructure underpinning the Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts www.404media.co/ice-just-pai...

Developing story: City council representative is attempting to silence a frequent public commenter and constituent for his speech. I'm intentionally redacting until the defendant is served. Cc @acluofcolorado.bsky.social @coloradofoic.bsky.social

PHRACK will be at HOPE_16 = Hackers On Planet Earth. 15-17th of AUGUST. (hope.net) NYC 👉WILL RELEASE PHRACK 72 HARDCOVERS THERE 👈 +PARTY+TALK 🍻 We came 25 years ago already. Phrack ❤️ @2600.com

A judge cut off a Livestream only vaguely citing "issues" to reject a plea deal. Media was present and allowed to stay, the proceeding was an open court proceeding and unless this was the "less restrictive alternative" appears to be a blatant violation of CRS 13-1-132 Cc @coloradofoic.bsky.social

Flock has decided not to use hacked data in its people search tool after our earlier reporting: www.404media.co/flock-decide...

OSINT tip: (at least here in CO) -- Undercover plates are issued as secondary registrations and require the real plate and registration be kept in the vehicle. Thus UC plates don't return a VIN when you run them on plate2vin sites/APIs UCs filmed by a citizen today pictured below for verification

"It's not about the integrity of your face or driver's license, it's about the database where you have no control," EFF’s @irmck.bsky.social told @usatoday.com, with risk of misidentification, security breaches, plus human or technological error.

Same guy lol Have you no sense of irony? 🤣

A source came to me and advised the LVPD was about to "George Floyd" someone until they were interrupted by an unrelated knife welding man who they murdered instead. The latter is public, what happened before they murdered him is not. They want ~$3k. Who can help donate to this cause?

New: a man 'disappeared' by ICE was not included on a government list of people deported to El Salvador's mega prison. But we found his name in a hacked flight manifest to the country. Raises questions about how much the government knows about who it is deporting www.404media.co/man-disappea...

This needs some serious legislation before it becomes reality. If any Joe off the street can instantly facial recognize you not only is it bad for your privacy but everyone around you. Mark my words, Meta will use facial recognition hits paired with location data to create dossiers

With only a little more than a half hour here in the Mountain timezones, TIL this day in 1882 the Chinese exclusion act went into effect. It was the subject of SCOTUS case United States v. Wong Kim Ark regarding birthright citizenship where parents were aliens.

HB25-1312 back in the house starting now. www.youtube.com/live/Ojw7n8v...

NEW: The City of Brighton, Colorado is set to pass a proclamation praising Scientology tonight. The city manager told the local newspaper the request came from the community. Emails show it actually came from a California-based PR rep for Scientologists. #copolitics

Republicans are now losing their minds about HB25-1312 chosen names not just applying to transgenders but all protected classes. They also don't understand that one can already choose their name under existing common law 🤦‍♂️

Trump's lawyers argue to SCOTUS he doesn't swear to "support" the Constitution. Media a year later asks him if he should uphold it, then Pikachu surprise face when he says "I don't know"

I've noticed this trend where Republicans who love deadnaming trans people are also going by chosen names, like "Kevin Lundberg", whose "birth name" or "legal, given name" which I'm sure he won't mind you using is Robert.
