Sadly, I doubt he'll lose his seat. I'm in his riding and these senior citizens only care about their wallets. The affluent will also vote with their wallets. He's well-liked here..sigh. It's up to the rest of Canada to kick his ass.

My theory. American education system...wave the flag, hand over heart...breeds soldiers. A narcissistic society willing to die for the 'greatest' country in the world. Keep the poor poorer and the uneducated, uneducated, and you have an army. Educated people rise up against the system.

Wrong-Canada. Depends on the province, usually 14 days after 1 year of service. In Ontario (and other provinces) 4% of pay, 6% after five years, + 2 weeks. Some province, ie Saskatchewan, get 3 weeks. And this isn't UNION. Its federal law per Canadian Labour Ministry.
