Co-host of the Force For Thought podcast. High republic fan. Ahsoka fan. Sequel fan. Prequel fan. Original fan. Pretty much loved all Star Wars except for that one episode in bad batch season 3 where cad bane kidnaps that baby.

I agree that season 1 didn’t have enough aliens but I’ve been pleased with season 2! Lots in the senate and in Saw’s gang.

Syril Karn is not a villain! He has been manipulated by his mother and now Dedra and he just wants to make others like him!!!

Can you explain to me how this tales of the underworld event works? Do you launch a video through the app in a different window, or do you watch it in the game?

Yes you should! A Test of Courage more so than the other middle grade novels imo. Vernestra is a pretty central character to a lot of YA books. Don’t forget the High Republic Adventures series too! That’s got some of the best stuff

I’m excited for this! I was pleasantly surprised with Escape from Valo (as I almost always am with the middle grade novels). Nice name btw

Ugh phase 1 in particular is so rewarding if you go in exact release order like this. For light and life!

The first time we’ve seen Luthen or Kleya act like people! It humanized them both and showed that Luthen has personal relationships too after whining about everyone else’s! Love this moment

I saw an interview where Tony gilroy says they included him in a small scene this week to get us used to it before a bigger role next week. So, I feel vindicated whining about this all week to get it out of my system. I WANT SMITTS

This is…fascinating. I play video games and I barely understand what’s going on here. Will you be controlling a character who is near a big screen? Can you move around in the environment where the screen is? I don’t…how?

I see what you mean. the movie is ending and it needs to transition somehow from “sad everyone died tone” to “hopeful we got the plans and got away” tone. Not trying to change your mind though. The Vader massacre is pretty sick in its own vacuum either way tho

Love it, so then how does an antique dealer become so galvanized to dedicate his life to starting a rebellion when he doesn’t seem to be suffering from the empire? What’d they do to him!

I love how quickly my mind went from “huh, they have a marching band that’s odd” to “this is the best scene ever”

Oof I see where you’re coming from but also we keep seeing people just die and it doesn’t really matter the story goes right on. It feels consistent to me.

I personally loved S1 of Andor and S2 is pretty sick also.

Yooo you alternate streaming services by year?? I guess you save more doing yearly subs but I rotate every month or 2 that’s just crazy to me that you do annually. To each his own ✌️

Streaming data seems so fake and made up all the time I never know if I believe it. But boy I hope this is legit. All I know is I’m doing my part rewatching the acolyte lol.

Do you think he was an antique dealer who became a rebel, or a rebel who set up a front as an antique dealer? Either way is crazy interesting to think about!

It’s crazy how partagaz and tarkin and krennic and Gideon could all be basically the same character but they’re all so unique and amazing in their own way

I agree about fitting everything in! The one year time gaps make the personal relationships harder to invest in. I think the bix/cass and vel/cinta dynamics suffer from the gaps, but interestingly the Syril/Dedra benefits from it!

I must be out of the loop, why don’t we like Spotify? I don’t use it either but I thought it was good if you liked listening to lots of different kinds of music. Genuinely curious

I’m sure recency bias is affecting me, but Neel talks just as cute as they both look! I would do anything for him I choose Neel.

I loved path of deceit! After the rollercoaster of phase 1 I wasn’t expecting my favorite characters to see the end of phase 2, but damn they broke my heart over Kevmo in the same book he was introduced 🥲🥲
