Perhaps, England can contribute and help solve the India-Pakistan problem. So many of their issues are the remnants of the partition and all that... Blaming the US for the problems YOUR country caused does not look good. And let's not go into the Palestine Mandate issue...

But now, this argument is gone because Sheldon Whitehouse CHOSE to travel instead of doing his job for which we pay him. The end.

AGAIN -> Blocking tariff's bill did not pass in the Senate because WHITEHOUSE DID NOT VOTE. As I wrote above, there are many GOP reps who would have had to explain their votes and their positions on tariffs to their constituents. The GOP would have fully owned it.

You need to read the ENTIRE article 👇 Whitehouse CHOSE not to do his job. And it is a shame, because I really used to like him.

1. We don't know what the House would have done. 2. There are many GOP reps who would have had to explain their votes to their constituents. Voting for tariffs would have affected their chances in 2026. But, the case is closed now because Sen. Whitehouse chose to travel and shirked his duties.

We expect the senator WE ELECTED to be present and to vote. I am not sure what Britt and Tuberville have to do with the fact that Whitehouse CHOSE to travel to South Korea instead of working for the people who elected him to represent them.

Paid by us. Sen. Whitehouse also lied that he was the only one representing the US. Our former Secretary of State was there. Sen. Whitehouse failed in his duties as our representative.

It looks like Sheldon Whitehouse just posts some news and goes on trips paid by us. I used to like him... 😕

The Yalta comparison is very apt. It was exactly 80 years ago, in Feb 1945, when a dying US president gave Stalin half of Europe so that Soviets were able to imprison and kill thousands and oppress millions for the following half a century. Is the history about to repeat itself?

Exactly! Where you do think Dickens came up with his famous Christmas story? 👻 🎄

It comes from the pre-Christian Northern European tradition of sitting around the fire on the longest night of the year and telling stories of death and rebirth and everything in between.
