it is always met with someone “better” than us telling us it wasnt deserved. this mindset hinders the community from improving and keeps top level small. 6/6

getting. only to have top level players join our server and mock us for our achievement saying jackpot was “trolling” and how our win wasnt deserved. any time I have achieved anything with my team, 5/6

I remember specifically when octopi took a game off of jackpot in superjump almost a year ago, top level players asked to join our server to congratulate us. we were really excited because even though we lost the set, we were proud of what we did and the recognition we were 4/6

after most of our sets against higher level players we would either deal with salty comments or straight up insults. very rarely have we experienced any positivity from players better than us. (3/6)

while i do think big branded teams will help strengthen the community a lot, being branded creates a huge target on your back. a large part of the player base no longer treats you as a human being, but as a “result” or a team to ego and put down. (2/6)
