love it, that sort of thing definitely helps a fantasy world feel more lived in

Really cool to see stop motion animation
Though curious if there is any issue with the feeling of latency since low fps animations?

On that note I also want to be as transparent as possible, so any tech used will be public and I will be happy to share anything about the development process
unless there's a really good reason like anti-cheat proprietary what not or something similar

Daily energy, forced ads is instant uninstall for me... I play games to have fun and escape the demands of civilised life for a few hours
I agree thou excessive DLC and season passes are so frustrating. Especially when its obvious FOMO is being used to manipulate you

Damn that is a super smart way to make testing before/after easier!!

Looks fantastic,
only thing I'd point out is looked like you were viewing many things quickly... found it difficult to get quick information when only looking at them momentarily so if the player is likely to do this icon/larger-font for essential information would be useful

True, I've worked for a web development agency... and the assembly line comparison really rings true.
It's almost impossible to have passion when you're just cranking things out over and over again endlessly without being able to explore (Plus the notorious crunch and low wages of gamedev).

perhaps pointless but I'll always see that card with a fonder view now

Yeah... good points
Does sometimes feel like these big developers have lost some pride in their projects though

How did we lose all ability to optimize, or even consider people on smaller/older hardware.

Its really good, peeking behind the curtain into the farming industry (and council...) is super cool.
Plus Jeremy never runs out of wild antics

How did you land on using haxe?

There are so many genius optimization methods from the ROM era of games, perhaps some of them may apply.
But why so limited, is this for a particular bit of hardware. would of thought emulators would have the ability for larger sizes?

What is the threshold for?

Eh... I could see a lot of cases where something is setup/changed to be better for teaching. Definity a smell but not definitive
e.g. stripping down to teach an idea vs your full implementation in own project

Great job for first attempt, it looks especially cute at full height facing forward

I share the distaste for JSON, cool to have it as a super widely supported format though.
