Sugar pumped into absolutely everything, so cost of dealing with diabetes, coronary, and obesity related health probs will sky rocket costing us plenty. As others said lack of labling and affordable alternatives means choice isnt an option.

While Putin and Trump are talking in Saudi, maybe playing a bigger game - Carving up the whole of Europe between them. Its all about owning. Living in eithers estate would be awful.

Surely the current US administration is a security threat. Not to be trusted with plans, details, or interventions. Might as well go straight to Russia.

It depends, is KS batting for the American and Russian Corp world carve up, or is he pro EU democracy. And where is 'soft labour' in that.

And brought Russian journo from TASS into the Oval office for the ride when AP and Reuters were excluded. If thats your friendly press, then its a bit clear.

Plus humiliating Z in front of Russian state journalists. Letting TASS in but not AP or Reuters. That journo only got kicked out when The Independent complained on X. What is Russian State TV doing in the Oval office.

All will be lost if we are not ready to fight for democracy.

Maybe, a step further. They are privatising your country. T chairman, Theil CEO, Elon CFO, etc no more state. You're the new East India Company, with few morals and fewer checks n balances as you have no king.

Exactly this. Rform are holding rallys in poor towns now. Blaming all their pain on the evil left. I think they are building pressure for an early election because as US policies start negatively impacting people like them across the pond it'll be harder for them to associate maga as the saviours.

Good news for a change.

I suppose they need to capture UK before US implodes too much and reform voters realise the truth of what they are votimg for. Things are moving quickly in US.

Bad news indeed. Presumably tax, land registry, pensions, passport office safer at the mo?

Exactly this - the left fracture and criticise themselves over n over. Leaving the door open to usa corp take over of uk. Its time for prodemocracy parties & people to cluster and rally for why democracy is better than oligarcy.

Reform are travelling round the country rallying poor like maga did. Putting the fear into people that 'the radical left our grandparents fought against in ww2 has taken over and is going to kill the country' Rfm totally own the narrative - a fairytale. Nought L does will change that far left label.
comment in response to post
Local pages are full of hate of labour as radical left - their parents fought in the war to stop them Etc. Strong narrative only Reform will save us. There is nothing labour can do to get away from the left label. So the left and center need to cluster, support each other and flood uk with +ve news.

Not a moment to loose. I think the threat to UK system is imminent. We should demand assurance from mps on how risk of interferance and take over is being recognised and mitigated.

Awake enough to know a difference between data sharing on socials or data handling by gov even using contractors vs the current US locking out the staff and moving non-state corps into gov buildings to run the gov databases across departments. Taking over depts in his way is not yet happening in UK

Every single time! its an effective way to hijack the narrative. Attribute all your worse traits to the other. Then let the press do their job and no one knows who they are talking about or what those words now represent. Its not stupid. Its scary.

Could be worse. Could be America where corporates have been handed the keys. Citizen social security data has been taken, grant funded social projects stopped, bye to consumer rights and regs, workers cleared from fields, food prices rocketing. Our Gov may suck but is MUCH better than that!
comment in response to post
Id like to know what measures are being put in place now to protect us, including our gov held data, from US corporate junta. Esp if they try to take UK at next election.

What do you get for all this free advertising? Its so disproportionate to votes you cant call it representative and its certainly not in the nations interest. If it were cool to promote extremists Sien Fein have double the seats, so Why all this free promo? What do you get?
