At this point, that’d just be Joe, W, and Bill, each of which may as well have one foot in the grave with average age of 80. Now I’d love to see these guys together trash talking Trump, but I’m doubtful Americans broadly have much fervor for that. They’re still shitting on Biden’s age even now.

“Defining symbol” is kind of hyperbolizing it, don’t you think?

I get the frustration, but personally I wish democrats broadly would just be able to move on as well. I’ve gotten the impression for years that the Obama’s weren’t interested in further public service, but dems keep worshipping them anyway. Like, come on, grow, evolve, adapt, change. But they don’t.

Also Buttigieg. He’s just a private citizen now and has nothing better to do (except raise his kid I guess, but that’s lame).

I don’t know about that. Who exactly has managed to return to Trump’s graces after falling from it in the past?

Are democrats doing that? I feel like I’ve only heard the absurd rationalizations coming from the right.

Man, that’s just surreal

Who is that? Apparently I’m blocked.

I guess I’ll thank him for returning to the Biden economy.

Yeah eliminating pardon power and taking away tariff power too would be my go to stuff. Generally I want less power for the executive branch and more for the legislative branch, like is supposed to be the case. Reps and senators should feel more obligation to lead from the front.

It is interesting the guy who compromised the group chat is getting ousted, but the one who was actually illegally sharing classified information is not.

Very transparent of them.

It’s like I’m watching Tim Burton’s grand kid. It’s nostalgic as fuck, but also feels new and fresh at the same time. I want more!

Was always bizarre to me that accidentally helping someone who might not technically deserve it their standards is somehow the worst thing that could ever happen.

I like the sound of that

Also puts a huge hole in Bondi’s idiot statement about not being able to bring him back.

Super under appreciated aspect of Biden’s administration. Banks rake in billions off of squeezing every last penny out of poor people with this. Glad to see officials still pushing to make them a thing of the past.

Excellent! Genuinely surprised you got an actual sit down with him. I feel like this is also indication Bukele isn’t super confident about his Trump alignment lasting especially long. I know I want there to be hell to pay diplomatically if serious harm occurs to these deportees.

They don’t think. They hate thinking.

I actually think he was just looking to pick a fight. China was loudest about retaliating, so their tariffs are still in force and raised again to 125%. They’re now singled out and the rest of the world is still on egg shells. The Trump trade war is definitely not over.

Pretty sure that extra China tariff will damage markets in following days/weeks. Markets are just excited for relief from broad tariffs right now. Plus, who’s to say he doesn’t reverse course yet again next time he has a mood swing.

Not so sure there actually. China made the loudest noise about retaliating, now he’s singling them out. Rest of the world likely won’t know what they should/can do from here and market rallying now will be a smokescreen for negative effects of 125% China tariff for a time.

Just chipped in. Good luck! Fuck Russia!

China tariffs still in place and raised to 125% from what I understand. Don’t think markets have fully digested that and I have no clue where everyone else goes diplomatically from here. Very uncomfortable position overall.

At least until he does this same shit again when he gets in a bad mood.

Also nationality. I agree with @destiny.gg that we should know if an opinion is being voiced from a resident of Russia, France, America, etc.

And by “these people” I mean the internet communists Will is referring to. I’m on the same page as Will.

Yeah, that’s why I’m hoping AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Cory Booker, and other popular reps/senators don’t run for president and stay in the legislative branch. Keep influence there so it can become the strongest of the 3 branches again, like it’s supposed to be.
