A8:A trapezoid is a quadrilateral (a four-sided polygon) that has at least one pair of parallel sides. So yes, it is a trapezoid! Just not a 'typical' one that'll we would see. This emphasizes the importance of vocabulary! #ElemMathChat

A4: 15/4 Vertically, you are adding 1 or 4/4 to each fraction. Each diagonal (1/4 to 6/4 to 11/4) is increasing by 5/4. I wonder if students can see the pattern- especially that 4/4=1, 8/4=2 etc. #ElemMathChat

A3: As I deliver PD sessions, I always model hands on activities that allow students to play- manipulatives & coding with robots in particular. In NYS we have Prek-3 Play standards I try to reference and cross connect to curriculum! #EduSkyChat
