Calling something "lawful" doesn't make it so.

I'm thinking Canada ought to rename Lake Superior to "Lake Ontario Mark II"

I'd sign up for that. Universal healthcare, respect for human rights, higher happiness quotient, plus surfing. Calidenmark here we come!

I'm pretty sure the Mango Mussolini sees it as just another gentrification project.

Keith, I'm becoming convinced that we're in the universe where we all die in a nuclear war, followed by multiple engineered plagues to take out nearly all humanity. In 100,000 years, the planet will be better off. Perhaps there's another universe where humanity grows up and gets sane.

What those cadets displaced need to do is show up en masse for the "White People Faking Christianity" meetings, and then put on their own groups' agenda. Just take over the meetings. Talk about Engineering while Black. Or whatever.

That said, you should keep one credit card only for purchases from unknown businesses, so if the number gets ripped off, the rest of your life isn't disrupted.

A couple of big giant trips to Costco per year to stock up on paper & cleaning supplies. Maybe even meat. Take a big cooler, ice it down for the trip home (or put it in with frozen goods) and break it down and freeze once you get home.

Farmer's markets as others have said. Small-business online delivery places, you can get meat, vegs, etc. delivered. Misfits Market delivers otherwise wasted food (slightly blemished but perfectly good produce, etc). These businesses may not be local to you, but they are locally owned *somewhere*.

I can think of one particular candidate for a long-after birth abortion. Can you think of who? I know you can.

These are kitten pictures of Stanleigh and Ollie (on the left), now young adults, and with us one week. Our last cat, Meri, passed at age 17, about 2 months ago, and we felt the need for the aliveness cats bring to the house. They're settling in well.

The judge should have sentenced TFFG to probation. Can you imagine? Him having to visit the parole officer monthly, and check before he can leave the jurisdiction? Every single time? Pee in a cup?

I thought the billionaire tech-bros wanted Greenland because they think it will become temperate and give them a place to live when the rest of us die of the heat. It's not Mars but the best they can do on Earth.
