That's a lie. If you receive Premium Tax Credit via ACA and make too much money, you have to pay it back within the return. If you get PTC and try to file without reporting it, the return is rejected.

ICE members should live in fear from this day on.

Maybe part of the problem is the men that have little to swing.

There should not be a moment of peace until this aging pole dancer steps down.

Sheesh. I was making that in 1987 with full benefits. I was in a UNION!

Meet him where he is an end this. Congress swore an oath too.

Is dangerous to wonder out loud whether the US military will have to choose between the Constitution and him?

It's horrifying to know that the country has no functioning mechanism to end this presidency.

If he's not stopped, the law will only be what he says it is.

The current president said "He who saves his Country does not violate any Law." Test that. It sure looks like the country needs saving.

Literally. US manufacturing took 60+ years to grow and it peaked the 1970s. We won't live long enough to wait for it to return.

She's trying to combine the 80s Glamor Shots w/ a side of soft fetish porn. Very gross indeed.

Fighting fascism with wishful thinking. The "it could be worse" argument is lazy and any Dem that utters it needs to go. They weaken the party.

The maximum is grossly unfair too. An employee making $176,100 pays the SAME into SS tax as an employee making $1M in earnings--$10,918. Removing the cap for Social Sec tax could fund SS indefinitely.

Going along to get along is not good enough. You vote with them, you help them.
Let it happen. If we're all going to hurt anyway, let's face it now.

Governance by trial and error is a hallmark of trump's administration.

Stop trying to compromise. Dems will be blamed for a shutdown no matter what. Ending Medicaid could put nursing home residents on the streets and sick people will die. Defend them. If you guys are just going to hold up signs get some made that say "NO" to use every time the gop wants your vote.

It looks like the body was designed on an etch-a-sketch. That basic stainless would be cool if it were 1985. It looks like an unfinished concept car. The sheet metal gives aluminum foil vibes. Probably as safe as the rockets though, right?

Somebody needs to take that whole thought back and never think of it again.

Al Green tried to stop trump in 2017. Folks should listen to him now.

Dems should leave. All the lines have been crossed. Don't legitimize this. As Dems, we need to be tossing some boulders at them from our high road. His presidency will amount to a body count.

Bad enough to try to take SSA but killing it and Medicaid benefits will really hurt people in nursing homes.
The cost of a nursing home is paid by cash, Medicaid or SSA. This will devastate families.

To attend somehow legitimizes them. No. It will be the usual bs from the gop-just additional lies.
An opposition rally or broadcast? You guys aren't dealing with "opposing views" on policy anymore. This is existential.
Ramp up this fight. Don't give them any air.

His writings are like an inkblot test that someone spilled coffee on.
He is an enemy of our Constitution and traitor to our country. He should have been treated accordingly a long time ago.

Wondering what politicians would have done about trump and musk in 1950.

After seeing musk's kid in the Oval, I think everything he owns should simply be called "Booger".

A war ended a king's rule and created democracy here. I keep coming back to that when thinking of things getting worse.
Our votes, likes, lawsuits and opinions didn't save democracy. How do we talk about what may need to happen and how that would go?
I'm staying bc it's my country and screw them.

I agree. I bet those cases go away.
As long as corporations will pay asking and can close in a day, a home buyer can't compete. Renting a home is not the American dream. Sometimes, I'm glad to be old. This is especially hard on young people.
comment in response to

He's beyond insane.
We have an *affordable* housing shortage. Existing home prices rose like mad during covid. Supply chain issues were cited for the rise in costs of everything. Nothing went down after that. It's price gouging.
His aspirations for Gaza will go up in smoke one way or another.

If this person existed in politics, even 20 years ago, he would be in hiding by now. It's never too late to make a fascist look for a bunker.

If America was as strong as it was before trump, musk would be removed by any means.
