I love how it was pitched as the studio flexing their creative muscle on non-Destiny IP (which, merits aside, is palpable enough) but then you learn it's a mandate from management to essentially make the Fortnite of the extraction shooters genre and it's like yeah...

It should, but try first and see if there are any wrinkles just to be safe.

I'm guessing it has to be white-listed like on the other home consoles. But even then I know someone who tried playing Fortnite on their PS5 with a mouse and their dpi was properly cooked.

And it's something where Google did most of the work for them and Epic just had to plug in via their API. Genuinely devoid of sauce.

They've been at it for a few years now and the most expensive to run models still hallucinate like no tomorrow.

The NBA model of paying per month, game, season or just for the finals stays unbeaten.

The main thing keeping me from using it more is that a solid 2/3 of the people I follow just didn't bother switching over. That and cross-posting to two platforms with fundamentally different vibes is just silly.

Crazy that they inked that Star Wars deal back in the day but now they seem to want to distance themselves out of doing any licensed shit whatsoever. That 3rd Jedi game getting made while the c-suite is pulling teeth.

I watched my younger brother play it and I was pleasantly surprised at how relentless its pace was. When he finally finished it and we both watched the ending... The catharsis you get from that after blitzing through the story is unmatched.

Like I get we're operating at a much smaller scale here, but it's all the more reason recommendations should be ON-POINT so I don't have to keep scouring for people to follow. (And no, starter packs aren't a perfect solution)

We unfortunately exist in a very low-info environment despite us being chronically plugged into our phones at every idle moment and when you start to interrogate just a lil bit how algorithms fed into the rise of fascism, you can't help but become a luddite on some level. π

I'm sure every one of these contributed to a certain extent but your interest in PC hardware sealed the deal.

Wondering if he's gonna be sort of an Ansu Fati dead end for them, or at best a DembΓ©lΓ© who wouldn't be able to flourish/develop under the club's current structure.
