We of course will ignore the fact that the actors have in many ways been getting steadily “badder” for decades

Nobody said they weren’t difficult for everyone. The point is that health issues that are difficult for a young person to overcome are significantly harder for an old person to overcome. That’s an incontrovertible point.

pronouns are a thing that exists, you might as well say that “forcing adverbs on everyone” is controversial. These things become touch points because right-wingers message and then dems following logic like yours cede ground to them.

A 45 year old person has a much better chance of beating cancer than a 75 year old person. The fact that cancer can kill you in middle age doesn’t change the fact that cancer and treatments for cancer are very difficult for a 75 year old person to endure even without the stress of working full time

I’m not a cartoonist but I didn’t know we were still doing “cal arts style (derogatory)”

413% isn’t high enough
comment in response to post
Do you know how links work?
comment in response to post
I’m doing no such thing. When 73% of Israelis say the violence against Gaza has either been about right or hasn’t gone far enough, then your argument makes no sense.
comment in response to post
Do you think I’m talking about the picture or did you actually click on the link to see the polling results, which are what I was actually talking about?
comment in response to post
No, it isn’t, because I’m not criticizing Jews, I’m criticizing Israel. The two are not coterminous.
comment in response to post
doesn’t look like Israelis have too much of a problem with wanton murder
comment in response to post
then you should be mad that Palestinians are being murdered in the name of Jewish people everywhere. That’s what it means when criticism of indiscriminate bombing is called antisemitic.
comment in response to post
Lmao it’s not antisemitic to say that dropping bombs on hospitals and schools and bakeries is evil. The fact that you think it is IS antisemitic, ironically.

Netanyahu couldn’t have done jack shit without Biden tripping over himself to ship him billions of dollars in ordnance. Cancer is awful, but it’s not as awful as having your entire family wiped out by a 2,000lb bomb landing on your head.
comment in response to post
did I say they were equals? I did not. the fact that Biden is not as bad as hitler isn’t really saying much
comment in response to post
Regardless of the history of the region, selling bombs and missiles to a regime that is using them to destroy hospitals and humanitarian convoys and continuing to do so after over 100,000 civilians have already been killed is not complex, it’s fucking evil.
comment in response to post
Not sure if you’re talking about hitler or Biden here but both of them had a direct hand in killing millions.
comment in response to post
Yes, Trump is a monster and a gigantic piece of shit. That changes nothing about what Biden is responsible for.
comment in response to post
“Yeah he killed millions of people but he’s a HUMAN BEING, the complexities are just beyond your understanding!”
comment in response to post
Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan, everyone who suffered the consequences of the crime bill he was a huge proponent of, the list goes on. As for what good people do, I will tell you that good people don’t cape for monsters.
comment in response to post
I’m sorry, I’m supposed to have empathy or compassion for a ghoul who has the blood of millions on his hands?
comment in response to post
it’s wild to me that there are actually people who LIKE Biden.
comment in response to post
it’s crazy how willing they are to tell on themselves

they’re certainly more human than that eggheaded flesh-homunculus miller

Dems don’t ever reckon with the fact that their opponents are shaping public opinion by being loud. If there is anything resembling a backlash to “identity politics” in the public sphere, it is because the right is yelling about it and Dems are, I guess, just indifferent? It’s very strange.

libs will literally do anything to avoid acknowledging the damage done to the world in the name of capitalism
comment in response to post
EXPLOITATION is the FOUNDATION of capitalism. An ideal communist society has no exploitation. An ideal capitalist society still has exploitation as its linchpin. Surely you can see the difference.
comment in response to post
No, but it is responsible for a whole lot of it. That’s really not a controversial take, it’s demonstrably true.
comment in response to post
they aren’t totally unique evils, they’re an escalation of the same evils that have been perpetrated since the foundation of this country.
comment in response to post
Exploitation is literally the foundation of capitalism.

Lmao immigrants are desperate to get here because we have ruined their homes.

Hey NBC, what exactly is your incentive for carrying water for the “opposing the wanton murder of children means you hate all Jews” crowd?

any business that markets its products or services as “look how much AI we stuffed in this bad boy” is a no from me
comment in response to post
You almost have to be impressed at how so many Dems have interpreted recent losses as a mandate to slide even further to the right, as if being Diet Republicans isn’t the reason they’re losing.

Holy shit I fell asleep halfway through reading that flyer

I’ve said this before but at some point killing these ghouls becomes not only self defense but a moral imperative. In Minecraft, of course.

I think about the guy who confronted Tucker Carlson at like a sporting goods store when he was on vacation with his family, and Carlson was like “my kids are with me”. Fucking good! Your kids should know what a piece of shit you are!

well the problem is that they don’t have enough officers to be private contractors for rich people while also maintaining a laser focus on tormenting brown and poor folks.

Putin would never have happened if we weren’t determined to destroy the USSR and then embarrass them by propping up a drunken clown and shitting all over their economy. The US really has created every bad thing in the world lmao

the major problem is that crime is not fucking rampant! it just isn’t! it’s a media narrative shaped by corporate lies.
