I'll definitely say that the European clubs have not been nearly as dominant as I'd expected and I think it's possible that this could become a tournament people are really invested in at some point if that gap continues to narrow. but it still feels halfway between friendlies and real competition.

I don’t know if it’s meaningfully different but I guess that’s a “time will tell” thing. I’d say that personally, I feel better about where MLS is in the global hierarchy than I did before, which is nice. And I suppose it’s possible Adrian made some kind of connection that will come in handy.
