Same is true of the wealthy Idaho guy who started a software company with his brother nominated to lead the National Forest Service. Nothing but self interest and incompetence all around this Trump Administration. Charlatans and grifters every one.

It also means people losing jobs and the closure of medical care facilities doesn’t it?

Commenting sentences for convicted felons and murderers shows empathy for the felons and murderers, no sympathy for the victims. Musk and Trump are both opposite of empathy and the worst on most topics.

So there’s no longer a federal contracting system with rules???

Trump pretends to be all for the MAGA poorly educated fans but actually thinks they are suckers and losers. He gets a huge rush off of convincing them that what he does to hurt them actually benefits them. Nothing but a power trip.

Wasn’t it the oppressed and struggling including families that came here in droves? What do the ignorant easily fooled fools think when they believe a professional con man liar?

This is why we also need age and term limits — get the idiots out faster

Musk is just desperately trying to get back in the public’s good graces by pretending to criticize Trump. Don’t buy it.

Heard him give a commencement speech the year he died. So incredibly prescient — such a loss that he left us too early.

Part of this comes from the Trump MAGA rural whose children leave for jobs. The fantasy is if their kids became plumbers and electricians the kids would stay. Medical / RN, CNA, LPN has been another path. Who’s gonna tell them no jobs anyway as Medicaid is axed + elderly population dies off

Maybe rename Fake Crapper (sorry could not resist)

How to blow up billions of American taxpayer dollars to get ready to send wealthy people to the moon and mars while wrecking the US government.

Only the hypocrites scream they want the 10 commandments everywhere including schools.

Opposite Day every day. Good is bad and bad is good, apparently. Godspeed the end of these days.

The media EVERY SINGLE DAY HIDES TRUMPS MENTAL INCOMPETENCE by choosing the sound bites when he reads from a script or editing what he says. Complicit with the Republican Party. Throwing shade on competent former presidents who did the job well to divert from the current one blowing everything up.

The cost of treating someone severely sick with Covid far exceeds the cost of vaccines. The more people unvaccinated in the younger age groups, the more elderly or immunocompromised or in high risk groups will get sick, rack up medical bills, potentially die. Stupid all around to discourage vaxing

Don’t believe a word he says he’s just trying to salvage his businesses

Pathetic

To be fair, messaging that relies on instigating hate, breeds fear, and accuses the other side early and often of egregious outrageous behavior repeated over and over to induce uncertainty and doubt is very effective and has been the method for MAGA since its freedom caucus/tea party inception

He’s been lying all his life and getting away with it. This is what is wrong with America: justice can be bought via attorneys for the wealthy, while the average citizen gets ruined for doing less than what Trump has done.

Uh so are they going to force companies to provide health insurance to people? Thats the only way to do it since many companies deliberately under employ people to avoid providing health insurance. Walmart is a big example. But corporate and elite wealthy welfare is what republicans actually do.

And bet those churches tell people they are not Christian if they vote for a Democrat — heard that all the time in TX

Big bad terrible horrific hypocritical bill needs to die entirely in the senate

Trump told them the epitome of success is a man who trades wives to eliminate boredom, temporarily. Freudian transference he dropped another guys name.

The imaginary plants in the US staffed with imaginary workers. Or maybe Trump plans to teleport plants and workers from China….

Perhaps the fantasy of American Exceptionalism can be replaced with a hard reality check. Awareness of what the actual problem is and a willingness to confront it is the only path to effective change.

Dogs are our better angels. If only they lived longer than we do.

And how could Vietnam say no? And why should they say no? The self-proclaimed King of the world expects aka demands such consideration. It’s up to the US Congress and Supreme Court to hold him and his family accountable for self dealing and self enrichment. Where’s the motion to bring up violations?
comment in response to post
On another note, the emphasis on being saved pushed by the evangelicals makes faith very self-centered. Saving oneself from going to hell by accepting Jesus as your lord and savior is inherently selfish. The opposite of what Jesus was about. The Baptists and other Evangelicals fundamentally fail.

The arrogance of being able to shove incompetent leaders into positions where they can tank our country.
comment in response to post
So many Trump voters said they voted for him despite not liking him because the country / economy was in horrible shape so something had to be done. They were successfully in tanking the economy, the US’ world standing, and endangering the constitutional foundation that enabled a democratic republic
comment in response to post
So do senators have zero role in holding him or anyone else in this lawless administration accountable when they pose a national security risk????????

And many people with a lot of assets who can afford estate planning attorneys give away those assets in advance to ensure they get Medicaid help to pay for nursing homes. Those people are committing fraud really. Not the people who actually need Medicaid and have no assets.
comment in response to post
YES, please. And thank you!!!!!
comment in response to post
The often unsaid part is that cutting Medicaid will likely result in nursing home, doctors offices, and hospital closures. Then there is no medical care for anyone including those who have other insurance — especially in rural America. Plus the tremendous load on any health care ops staying open.
comment in response to post
Plus local clinics and nursing homes will close to. So good luck to anyone trying to go to a Dr, get nursing home or rehab care, or go to a hospital — all areas with lower income and senior populations will be out of luck.

They only want white babies. Thats what they are really saying.

Too aware what you did is pathetic opportunistic lying — must be the reason you haven’t posted a thing in quite a while. Maybe someone paid you to write this POS book — something is smelling to high heaven.

Just proves their methodology is to take any “news” and twist it hard right into as hateful an attack as possible while gaslighting the hell out of us all.

Didn’t Reagan actually have Alzheimer’s while President? And instead there’s all this crap healed on Biden who has a cancer many, many men get and don’t know it for a long time. Elevated PSA levels but a biopsy that doesn’t hit the exact right spot can be a diagnosis of no cancer. It was not found!!
comment in response to post
Truthfully it is very difficult to donate any money to any campaign when we see very little actual standing up and fighting against the Trump and Republican destruction on any front. Telling us you are fighting when we don’t see it makes us wonder if this is just fundraising. Show us this isn’t true
comment in response to post
Can you tell them whether the no tax on tips and no tax on social security promises Trump made are in there? Folks I’ve spoken to say the tax hikes you are referring to are lies and in fact tips and social security is not taxed.
comment in response to post
Well as long as North Carolina votes more Republicans into office, they should expect to be SOL on just about every single thing.

Never reading or listening to a thing Jake Trapper ever says again. Anyone who contributes any fuel to MAGA is absolutely worthless.
