Seconded. I was already a skeptic about immigration controls to begin with, but reading ‘Open Borders’ and all the evidence detailed within about how open immigration enriches nations with virtually zero drawbacks (except for pissing off bigots) just cemented how harmful and arbitrary they are.

OP snapped a pic of the stunning City Hall in Nago City, southern Okinawa. The building was constructed in 1981 after a countrywide competition. Nicknamed the "coral reef on land," the design by Team Zoo won the 1982 Architecture Institute of Japan Award for best design.
