"... and I'm concerned about your speech patterns in this appointment. Inordinately long pauses can be a symptom of many brain disorders."

Good for standing on values, but screw this graceful exit crap. Call them out! Now is the time when you burn bridges. You'll have friends out there. They will be people who are on the side of the law.

Markwayne Mullin really said "What was we ranked", then repeated it with the same phrasing when asked for clarification.

Okay, but have you thought about carelessly sowing discord by hemming and hawing very publicly about the obvious choice, solely because of your one pet issue?

I wholeheartedly agree. If something were to challenge me, I may be faced with *shudder* introspection.

If we actually survive this and get a few non corrupt people in power over the next 4 years, there needs to be a major accounting for all of this. No moving on, no forgiving for the sake of decorum. There must be major change to prevent this level of destruction from coming around again.

Some sort of video related to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 coming soon?

The news here is that, yes, he's probably on his way to trade money for favors like a goddamn criminal. Don't need to hyperbolize him holding a handrail. That just gets people posting forklift memes, when need to posting grift memes.

I'm generally in favor of direct action rather than empty reveling in their fuck-ups, but definitely watch to the end of this clip. What's a word like schadenfreude, but describes taking delight in them working hard to score an own goal?

Spooky action at a very close distance.

Not exactly related to the picture, but based on recent news, I'm worrying about his mental health. There are reports from staffers that he's been more unstable, and there was that news story recently about his outburst at a teachers' union meeting. Not great, he should get help if he's in crisis.

I... I don't know if you're kidding.

Great! Now for a name. First, we need a feeling of decorum or formality. What color is primary in tuxedos and funerals? Black! And since the focus should be men's mental health, maybe some term that's evocative of health care. Like pill. So there, a perfect name for our podcast, "The Black Pill"!

I was just thinking that. What's changed in this picture?

If you say some sort of disingenuous but complimentary-sounding thing and Trump believes it, you can probably have like a 50/50 shot of getting picked.

Nah, he needs someone with charisma! Those guys don't have the same star power as, say, washed up nerver-was rap rockers or old racist movie stars way past their prime.

People saying Rogan or Dana White have the right vibe. Who it will specifically be, however, depends on who flatters Trump the most at exactly the right time. Need to hit that sweet spot of about five minutes before he has to decide.

Holy hell, a formal letter, on official letterhead, full of propaganda and talking points. What a puppet. What a child.

A What If of this one would be interesting.

Thank you, senator! You took a decisive action in the face of lawlessness. Can't wait to hear the full story of your visit with him.

Oh, so the solution to this self-destructive personality trait is to just not have it? Thanks, Meg.

Then again, they also mayn't.

Afterwards, several anchors at CNBC were seen sweating and loosening their ties while gritting their teeth. Joe Kernan was quoted as saying "Yikes".

You can't own your pants and wear them, too.

Just off camera at the bottom: Trump with a bellows.

Sorry, I didn't make it to the end of your post, I got distracted thinking about a random song from Moana 2.

We can all have fun playing our copies of Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour together, which we will all definitely buy because it shouldn't have BEEN A PACK-IN WHY WOULD I BUY A TECH DEMO😠

@foreverdaff.bsky.social Hey genuine question, what's this based on? I mean, I know the Yankees hate, but the other part.

WHY IS HE ALWAYS MAKING THAT FACE?!

Can anyone tell me how I can find out more information about Gov Walz's town hall tour? I want to find where he's going, and if there's a way to engage his team to bring him to our neglected district.
comment in response to post
Yes, I'm also not loving many folks right now.
comment in response to post
Yes. Let's assume I'm asking that as well. I don't know where to start, but I want to.

Wait, so how stable is USAID now? What is the current status of staff and operations after all the destruction?
comment in response to post
Gov Tim! How can we find out about your town hall tour? We want to find out what districts you'll be hitting!
comment in response to post
I literally cannot find a place to get in touch with his team, or find out the planned districts. But yeah, I'd love this for us.

Can we get Walz to visit us on his tour?
