Silly thing, but I would like to thank everyone. I thought my comment was a flippant throwaway, and it's nice it inspired a respectful discussion. I have not seen such pleaseant back and forrh, even in disagreement online for a while. It's been pleasant to go through the comments.

I would love to say that healthcare is a benevolent act by the rest of the world, but studies have shown it actually BENEFITS the economy overall.
The issue for the GOP is that they can't tap the whole economy for money, but they can health insurers I assume?
